Hello, I'm Jacob. Owner of HighLifeK9s.
I have recently moved back to Canada and I am restarting my dog training business here in Schomberg.
I am a Certified Games based trainer through Absolute Dogs, As well as a certified balanced trainer and member of the approved trainer program with the Will Atherton Academy.
HighLifeK9s is a Balanced Games based training company, this means that the majority of the training we do is done through games and activities that the dogs enjoy, while being willing to clearly tell the dog “No” when necessary.
We specialize in Behavior modification, Loose leash walking, and general K9 Fitness.
We can offer a solution for all problems, from simple counter surfing to extreme separation anxiety. No challenge is too small or too big, it's all about helping the dogs be the best version of themselves.
I offer free consultations for all dogs. During a consultation we will discuss the issues you are having, your basic routine, and what you would like to see as a final result.
I am currently only offering one on one sessions. As soon as I setup a space for a group of 3-5 dogs I will begin offering group sessions.
Re-opening offer: Half off your first 5 sessions. Valid for the first 20 clients who book sessions.
Pack Walks will be offered to all clients with suitable dogs once the weather is more consistent.
Suitable dogs refers to dogs who are mentally and physically capable of participating in a structured pack walk. Dogs with severe behavior challenges or health issues will be asked to refrain from joining pack walks until their dog is in a position where they are capable of participating in a positive way.
