This is a video of Jynxy playing vigorously now that her left front leg is totally healed from her break and major surgery last December.
RESULTS! $300 was donated by a generous supporter for matching funds to help with our vet bills, including dentals on the kitties in the previous post. We added up the donations that started last night and the result was an amazing $785 to add to the $300!! Over double enough to match! So the total is now $1085. We are very fortunate to have such wonderful supporters for our senior kitties. Zoey, the kitty in the video, was rescued from the CRD Pound with a serious skin condition. A very kind foster couple took her under their wings and over a long period were able to get her back to normal. Then last week she had dental surgery. So now she doing really great, with only occasional vet care, and is remaining in our senior long term foster program. We always get what every cat needs once rescued. This is possible due to our wonderful supporters who help through donations, sponsoring kitties, supporting our weekly auctions, volunteering, and fostering.
Tequila loves petting and purring.
Tequila likes petting. If you turn it up, you might be able to hear the purring. (Excuse the messy desk...)
Margarita on desk:
Margarita on the desk. She is going to the vet on Sat. for a bit of grooming. She has a sponsoring team to help with her expenses which include medication for thyroid & kidneys and also her monthly arthritis shot. (A past video of Zoey follows this and then one Internet cat video... ignore all videos after that since they are not ours!!)
Our precious cat Zoey has been through a lot. Due to a severe skin condition she was an unadoptable cat at the Pound. Luckily we had a miracle for her with a new foster couple who were willing to put in the long hours of dealing with almost permanent cones for the last few months. She has been on special food and had treatment but was still trying to do obsessive licking near her tail. Finally an abscess popped up which was removed and we thought maybe something in that area (previously undiscovered) could be the problem. She got through that and then had another lump. That was removed today by Dr. Heidi at SVVH. Zoey is recovering and doing great this afternoon. The staff says she is very sweet, which we and her foster parents can vouch for! She is a darling little lap cat who deserve to have a pain-free life and hopefully we can finally solve her issues. She is adorable in her new puffy cone but we will all be happy when she can get rid of it!
