The Pawffice is the creation of Certified Positive Reinforcement Trainer, Amy Walsh, CPDT-KA. She found it difficult to suggest to her clients the best boarding and daycare to take their dogs to since she, herself, could not verify each facility.
So she created The Pawffice! A daycare and boarding facility she was proud to call her own that met her standards as not just a dog trainer but as a protective dog mom.

We are a force free facility. What this means is each dog is handled in a way that ensures no pain or fear is caused. We provide redirection to more appropriate playmates, distraction with toys or treats, or if we need to they have a short rest in one of our 12 runs to calm down before rejoining our playgroups.

We are on a quiet farm, conveniently located 5 minutes off the Trans Canada Highway (Thorburn Road Exit) at 170 Bennett’s Road in Portugal Cove-St. Phillips. Our daycare hours are 7am-6pm Monday-Friday.

As we get closer to opening, here's our price list!

We recognize there is a huge demand for doggy daycare in our community, specifically those that are focused on maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our dogs to play. We are very small-scale with a maximum of 20 dogs being accepted per day; that's including our dogs in boarding as well! We also want to ensure we have enough well-educated staff to be able to manage the environment properly, to allow us to maximize your dog's experience while spending time under our roof.

We expect spaces to fill up pretty quick so if you're considering bringing your dog to spend time with us once we open, please send us a message ASAP to get started with the paperwork so we can have you ready for an assessment as soon as we are able to do so.

We want people to be afraid of how much they love us! We’re located at 170 Bennetts Road in Portugal Cove - St. Phillip’s 🙂

It’s official! The Pawffice: Doggy Daycare, Boarding & Training will be opening at 170 Bennett’s Road, Portugal Cove - St. Phillip’s.

We’re working hard for our opening in July 2023 and we can’t wait to see those wagging tails and smiling faces on opening day (exact date TBA)

You love everything about your dog, and love being a dog owner! You care for them, feed them, walk them, take them to the vet when they're sick. When you say that everything about dogs is amazing ... you're excluding the whole ‘picking up the p**p’ part, right?

It needs to be cleaned up and someone has to do it. So, if you are too p**ped to scoop, you should definitely hire a professional to do it for you.

There are many reasons why you should hire a Pro - and of course the best reason being you never again have to deal with dog p**p again!

- Convenience is truly the greatest benefit we gain from professional doggy doo clean up companies. This holds especially true for dog owners with health issues or physical limitations.

- Unlike cow p**p, dog p**p is not a good plant fertilizer. Your dog’s diet mainly consists of meat and other protein-rich food, unlike cows that mainly eat grass and grain. As a result, dog waste can be very acidic. Additionally, dog p**p can contain harmful parasites, bacteria, pathogens, and microbes.
