Solar Eclipse April 8, 2024

🌑 Waiting for the Eclipse... 🌞

During solar eclipses, domesticated animals like dogs and horses, as well as exotic zoo animals such as baboons and flamingos, tend to become silent and still. They may cluster together and remain vigilant. Horses, being sensitive creatures, can also exhibit restlessness, shaking their heads and tails. Some may even stop moving or display extreme behaviors. In summary, while horses may not fully comprehend the cosmic event, their reactions during a solar eclipse can range from restlessness to stillness.

Being able to have a passion that runs so much deeper then any arena dirt floor that I have ever shown in or worked in.
Competition is really just competition. It’s all the preparation and connections made along the way between man and beast that truly matters the most.

I am very excited to announce that I will be training/coaching/ showing as well as Doing lessons Out of Aloha Acres just minutes from Sherwood Park/ Fort Saskatchewan. I do have a couple spots remaining for training available. Please stay tuned for upcoming clinic dates.

This little barn that built and molded me into the horseman I am today. When I was barely a teen I built a couple little box stalls , had a couple weanlings that i fit and trained and off to the Canadian National Quarer Horse show I went. Not only had I never shown at a breed show. But ever at this level, none the less never got show as a youth. I went right to the open classes and never looked back, my filly was 6th that year out 20 plus fillies. Wich was HUGE FOR ME. And my very first time showing at a big show and not having no experience nor a lot of knowledge behind what it takes to fit and show at this level. But I did it!

So so grateful for the little barn that built me.

I didn’t grow up with a show horse at my side. I grew up rodeoing with my mom and grandpa racing pony chucks & chariots and every rodeo had a fair and open all breed horse show. So I would bath up a couple of the race horses and go showing. And that is where my love for horse showing started. There is not a moment that goes by that I don’t think of my roots. I just know that the roots of my soul begins and ends with a HORSE!

When it comes to training and coaching. There is something so gratifying about about teaching the young souls of our future , to have them look up to you, to have them idolize you is beyond so much more meaning then any world title I have ever won. Then to watch them go out into the show pen and shine bright is just beyond rewarding. These are some of young souls I have coached and gone onto to be NATIONAL CHAMPIONS and just around helped to teach them confidence and self worth along with self respect. There are many many others I have coached and trained.

Just love love to influence in a positive way.

Good day to you all, Happy Friday.

With the short break that I have taken from showing I’m making this post to let you all know that I will be back in full swing in 2024, I will be training, coaching and showing out of a local barn In Fort Saskatchewan, I am only accepting a limited amount of horses as very very competitive low costs. Two great show mares for sale.
Open Superior Halter mare daughter of kid Coolsified and out of a daughter of statutory, has had two Foals and sells with a breeding to “He’s So That”

The next is a 3 year old daughter of hers and out of my old Stallion Call Me Teeriffic” and was reserve Canadian National Champion.

DUE TO KNOW FAULT OF HER OWN , I HAVE HAD TO MAKE THE HARD DECISION TO PUT THIS LITTLE BEAUTY UP FOR REHOME , IV HAD SOME UNEXPECTED HEALTH ISSUES COME UP AND WILL BE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THAT AND JUST WONT HAVE THE TIME SHE DESERVES.I was really excited about her. And still will be. Just have to focus on my health for right now.

SHE IS BY “THE NEW TALLEN- O THATS HOT” (daughter of OHK). Very very trainable and talented out there wazooo!!
