Great group of horses clipped at ABEquestrian! A fun day spent clipping, we did a Full Body leaving only a saddle patch, a Full body with saddle patch & half face, Hunter clip leaving full face, and a modest Irish clip! Each suited to the horse’s individual needs.

Happy Halloween! 👻🎃🦄
Today is perfect to share yesterday’s creations! With ponies that have awesome names like Acorn & Donut, I’m excited to share the fun we had with their bum designs. All ponies match with a ✨fancy blanket clip✨ and then their well suited bum designs for fun.

My personal young mare, sporting her hunter clip with half face 🧡

French will be attending a few Eventing clinics this winter so I chose a Hunter clip for a clean and professional look. We enjoy this clip as grooming is easy, our rides are sweat free and I find blanketing is made easier to judge when the whole body has the same length of hair.

I love wrapping her up in a cute quarter sheet for warm ups and cool downs, she lives in a waterproof blanket with a hood attached ensuring her warmth for this maximal clip!

Happy to have my lesson horses looking and feeling great for their rides this Fall! CW Kings Candy Bar aka KC is rocking a modified Blanket Clip to keep her loins warm. She is a senior at 22 years old so I opted for this clip to keep her at her most comfortable. Princess London is rocking a hunter clip with her well suited crown.

My clipping journey began almost 10 years ago clipping my own back yard horses, not much has changed since then!! 🦄💜

Clipped my personal competition horse due to his summer coat unfortunately having tons of sun damage and fading. I was too slow to upgrade him to a complete sun protection blanket (UV protection fly sheet is what he was wearing, clearly not good enough). Happy to have him ready for our first event this weekend! he is looking and feeling great now.
