In addition to growing food, Red Pocket Farm also wants to grow community and local food culture. It is located at Downsview Park (just north of downtown Toronto, Ontario), operating on land provided by Fresh City Farms. Red Pocket grows a selection of popular Asian vegetables, as well as common Western market varieties, and can be found at various farmers’ markets throughout Toronto this summer.
