We are a small home breeder passionate and dedicated to our Australian Shepherds, Buddy, Bentley, Tesla, Stella & Chevy. We have been breeding for over 20 years, our first breed were German Shepherds until we downsized to the more compact active Australian Shepherd. Our puppies are not registered, being sold as pets or for those who enjoy agility competitions. We are proud of all our past pups, en
suring they all go to loving forever homes who provide a 12+ Year commitment. To date has not been one pup returned to us with health or behavior problems.

We are seeking a retirement home for our sweet boy Bentley, as we will also be soon retiring Checkerboard Aussies. Bentley was born, Sept 18 2017. He is the sweetest loving boy. We have previously been successful in finding perfect Forever Homes for our darling Portia, & Mazda (remember our Devil Child), who both have the best of the best. Rapeseed looks beautiful but it is bad news for pets.
Visiting spring meadows with your dog might be tempting, but experts warn owners to stay clear of rapeseed fields as they can be poisonous to dogs.
According to research by the Dogs Trust, rapeseed is one of the worst toxic plants for dogs because it contains glucosinolates (a sulfur-containing compound). Dogs who ingest the plant could suffer breathing difficulties and digestive disorders, which could be caused by your dog running through the fields.
In June 2019, one US dog suffered severe open wounds from running through a crop of rapeseed. Fields of the bright yellow flower might seem innocent enough, but they can pose health issues and cause serious allergic reactions.

Hello friends!
The total solar eclipse is just around the corner, and just about everyone is ready to see the once in a lifetime event. We are seeing some mixed information about pet/wildlife safety.
Contrary to what some may read, the sun itself is not any more dangerous during the eclipse. The reason protective eye wear is recommended for humans (who wish to observe the eclipse) is because many of us will be staring directly at the sun that day, which is something we typically avoid.
For our pets, and outdoor wildlife, that day will be similar to any other day. Our pets don’t stare at the sun, so there is no need to keep them indoors on April 08 for any extended period of time. They may notice the change in temperature, but it is unlikely they will exhibit any unusual behaviour.
The eclipse can be more unsettling for birds. The dimming of the sky can mimic behaviour at dusk and during early storm formation, so some birds may demonstrate a wind-down behaviour and there may be less activity in the sky during the peak eclipse. Once the sky returns to normal, so does their behaviour.

Whoever gets this girlie is going to have one very smart girlie. Crate training so far has been a breeze, leash training well done off to a good start, socializing with other dogs, Bentley first, now Chevy, as you can see 😂. Potty training so far so good, not one accident in the house today !!! She is from registered parents, although the litter was not registered, reflecting her adoption fee. She is perfectly marked with strip from white muzzle to top of head, full white collar, front white stockings, and two back stockings, all which set off the jet black.
