We wanted to say a big thank you to all of our staff for their hard work and dedication especially throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, our teams have been working extremely hard in providing routine and emergency care to our patients and clients as well as supporting each other through such a difficult period of time.

However, over recent months, the UK Veterinary Industry has faced an increase in abuse and disrespect towards its Veterinary teams. The increase in unacceptable client behaviour is adding additional and unnecessary pressure and stress to veterinary teams across the UK. We wanted to remind everyone that whilst we have an obligation to provide emergency care, we do not have an obligation to tolerate abuse and disrespect towards our staff and as such we adopt a zero-tolerance policy throughout our group.
We are asking that such abuse and disrespect be stopped to help protect not just our teams but the wider veterinary community.

We are aware there have been occasions where unfortunately we have had to delay some routine and non-essential treatments being offered at some clinics within our group. There may have been occasions when we have had to ask you to attend your appointment at one of our other 10 practices to avoid further delays in treatment plans.
With this in mind we wanted to assure you that we are all doing our very best to maximise our services and availability whilst delivering high standards of care and treatments to your pets each and every day.

Currently the UK is facing a huge shortage of vets and subsequently UK Veterinary practices are facing very challenging times. Without a team of dedicated vets, nurses and receptionists, Veterinary practices cannot offer treatment and care for your pets. Like so many other practices are doing everything we can to recruit additional team members to keep our services running but the fact is that there are very few vets and veterinary nurses coming through at this moment in time and this is adding to the pressures within the profession.

We all understand that the global pandemic has been a challenge and we empathise with clients, we are as always here to help you so please help us to help you. Remember to always be kind, be respectful and trust the professionalism of your vet practice!
