Base camp for a few days at The Royal Highland Show, thankfully the suns still out.

Quiet start with just the one shoe needing put back on but I’m sure tomorrow might be different!

Had another trip to World Horse Welfare, Belwade today, continuing to gain more CPD points
(Continual professional development)

A good day out to join other farriers and share ideas and advice.

Today was led by Jay Tovey FWCF & Jeff Newnham and covered foot balance and trimming, modern materials and shoe modification for support in treatment.

Always a good bunch of local professionals to spend time with and expand our knowledge.

EVENING ALL……..THE BACK IS ON THE MEND AND IN NEED OF SOME WORK!!!

I am now taking booking for February onwards so please get in touch if you require an appointment and I’ll see what we can do.

As you might understand I will be taking things slowly and building up both my strength and business to hopefully be better than before.

Just a quick post to say that I am still here and alive!

Still a bit iffy with my back but making progress and avoiding surgical intervention for now.

Hoping to be back in some form in the new year…...if not sooner!

Thanks to all those who have sent good wishes and are looking forward to my return.

I’ve heard glowing reports from fellow farriers covering my work, so you can’t be all that bad after all haha 😉
