My first attempt of making a video to post on here.... Hopefully its a little informative... lots of things I forgot to add but I will add them to the next one!!!

There is a housing order coming in for all of NORFOLK, SUFFOLK AND ESSEX. on the 12th of October you must keep birds inside to stop the spread of avian flu.

Sadly due to a local case of AI we are now in a surveillance zone so we will be CLOSED for the next few weeks. Luckily we have pretty much sold out of all stock for this year anyway. Its going to be another tough winter with lots of restrictions. Please everybody keep your birds safe, get plans in place now ready for another "Flockdown" which will be happening any day now. I know its a s**t time to be keeping any type of birds right now, but this isn't forever, good things are around the corner! Let's hope and pray this is the last year of this rubbish we have to face!

DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT! We will not be seeing any customers for at least the next two days. It is too hot to be moving animals around at the moment. Please remember to take extra care over the coming few days - and look out for signs of heat stress! Make sure all your birds have plenty of shade, and change water regularly to avoid it getting too hot. Keep safe!

Just been outside to lock the chickens up in my pyjamas, found a couple of eggs on the ground so put them in my pocket.....half an hour later turn the bedroom light off and roll over...CRACK, Pocket full of egg yolk, and now a very eggy bed 🤣🤣

Appolagies, There has been a real lack of chick photos this year! I dont know why, I just keep forgetting to post any 🤣

Well anyway, here are some from the latest batch, I'm now halving the amount of eggs that go in the incubator, and plan to put the last big batch of the year in at the end of the month (I will still hatch a few special eggs after that in a smaller incubator)

Just cant believe it's nearly the end of breeding season already! feels like yesterday I was putting the first lot of eggs in for the year, never mind, we have had a really great year for chicks, and hatched absolutely hundreds to keep you all stocked up 🤣🤣🤣 Hope everyone else is having a good season, Look forward to seeing your chick pictures too 😍😍
