I am tentatively putting the feelers out for a part sharer for my horse Billy 2-3 days a week (can be flexible). He is a 16.1hh rising 12yo thoroughbred cross trakehner gelding who I have owned for last 6 years.

He is a true all rounder, has hunted, team chased, evented and done pure dressage and show jumping also. He hacks alone and in company and is good in traffic.

He is NOT a novice ride. He does not buck, rear or bolt but he can be a spooky horse that takes confidence from his rider. The right person must be an experienced rider.

No time wasters please, he is my horse of a lifetime and after having a baby, I’m struggling to ride enough to keep his weight down and his brain ticking over. A share agreement will be put in place.

No financial contribution required but some yard jobs on your days would be appreciated

Based in Waddesdon, just outside Aylesbury.

The retired mares went out into their summer field and they were overjoyed with the grass and the sun on their backs 🐴😎

Followed by a lovely hack on my boy to finish off this beautiful day ✨

The lovely Gina from came to the yard today with the weigh bridge for everyone to get their ponies weighed and nutritional advice given where needed 😃

One of our lovely liveries has organised the weigh bridge for the last couple of years so we can all keep on top of our horses health 🐴

Shiny new gates installed today ✨

Replacing some circa 30+ year old heavy gates that had definitely seen better days.

A couple of our stables seemed to get wet under the mats every time we had a downpour 🌧️ and we noticed the guttering at the back had definitely seen better days 🥴

Soo … Mr Fix-it’s to the rescue 👨‍🔧🛠️ New guttering up today and nice dry stables for our liveries 😃

The reality of horses is that it doesn’t always go to plan but we pick ourselves up and carry on 💪🏻

We went for the ODE at Aston Le Walls on Saturday and whilst the cross country went well, the show jumping did not. After warming up so nicely, Billy decided there was a monster in the bottom of every jump 🙄

We made it round although with a fair few poles, but onwards and upwards, he’s been jumping so well in training, we just need to replicate it in the ring 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyone else sick of waking up to it having rained AGAIN?! 🌧️

Winter and horses is hard but this year has got to be one of the wettest we have had 💦. The mud is relentless so feel we could all relate to this 👆🏻

We are lucky to have alternative turnout so horses get a respite from the mud 😀

Took my own boy Billy to Cherwell for some BE combined training early this morning …. A stressful and hectic dressage after my lorry not starting meaning no warm up and to top it off, he got his tongue over the bit half way through 🤦🏼‍♀️

I considered packing up and going home after the dressage but so glad I didn’t as he went clear show jumping and just one pesky skinny arrowhead that caught us out XC. He felt amazing and I’m so happy with how he jumped for his first time back XC in a looong time 😃

Onwards and upwards with winter training 💪🏻
