Treating our fish this morning with some JBL Novofect. Our livebearers love them because of the added vegetation 🐟

🐟FISH OF THE WEEK 🐟 Normans Lampeye Poropanchax normani 🐠🐠 It’s name refers to the horizontal crescent at the top of its eye that seems to glow under aquarium lights. Native to Central and Western Africa. A small peaceful killifish ideal for planted and nano tanks. Unlike most killifish that live in pairs, the Normans Lampeye does better in a small shoal. They usually spawn in aquariums so they make a good breeding project. 🐠🐠

🐠🐟FISH OF THE WEEK 🐟🐠 The Diamond Tetra Moenkhausia Pittieri Only found in lake Valencia, Venezuela where they are struggling because of pollution and are almost extinct. A peaceful tetra as long as they are not crowded in a small tank. They are named after their shimmering scales. Males can be distinguished by their long dorsal fins.
