Christmas Opening Hours

This year we will be closing Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with a couple of these days land on a Sunday.

We will also be open between Christmas and New Year Eve but only half days.

Change to Opening Times

As of tomorrow we will be temporarily closing on Wednesdays. This is just whilst Jodie is off on maternity leave and allowing Geena to run the shop the other 5 days if the week. We are planning to reopen Wednesdays sometime in October when Jodie returns.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this will no doubt cause but hope you’ll understand and bare with us 😊

Dog found running loose down Vicarage lane. We have her at the shop if anyone is missing her. Dog warden has been contacted but hopefully we can find the owners before they have to come collect her. Please share

Apologies to anyone who has been trying to get us in the phone the last few days. We changed phone systems and hadn’t realised over Easter it wasn’t working. Now the line is reconnected however the handset it’s self isn’t ringing so we are not aware of incoming calls. We will be getting a new handset to rectify this problem. Please bare with us and leave messages so that we know you need us to get back to you. Sorry again for the inconvenience

Anyone recognise this fur baby. Rottweiler loose on southbank Ave.
A very helpful passer by has just contacted the pet shop to say he has been spotted wandering. They can’t get close to it but he doesn’t appear to have tags. I haven’t been able to leave the shop to help as I am on my own today and sadly the helpful lady has had to return to work. I believe homeward bound and dog warden have been informed. Can we have a quick share to see if we can find the owners and reunited them

Morning All,

Just wanted to settle a little misunderstanding that’s been circulating recently. Dog harnesses are NOT getting banned and to have your dog wearing one will NOT result in you getting fined. This rumour has come about by a number of misleading article’s published by the papers. The law is that you must have a collar on your dog displaying an ID tag as well as their microchip. That does not mean that your dog cannot wear a harness. It just means a collar and tag must be worn also and to not do so can be punishable by a £5000 fine. Unfortunately the titles of these articles are extremely misleading causing a lot of my customers to panic about the harness their dogs wear. Please do not panic, it’s just papers creating click bait as usual. I hope that settles some worry’s 😊
