All products are bespoke/made to order and so all dimensions and colours can be tailored to customers needs. We can either price based on dimensions and spec provided by the customer or indicate a price based on 3 typical sizes as an example eg small, medium and large.

Usually small or tiny dog breeds sleep for about 14 – 16 hours a day.

A medium-sized dog, on the other hand, sleeps less than small dog breeds. Their average sleeping hours lie between 10 – 14 hours a day.

Large breeds need more hours of sleep, hence they doze off for 14 – 18 hours a day.

During the lockdown, like so many people, I found I had time on my hands.

I like to keep busy so I decided to exercise my creative talents by updating our lounge. I set about panelling the walls around my fireplace and building a hall seat to compliment the panelling.

I was pleased with the results and learnt a lot in the process and with even more time to fill I turned my new found skills into a more ambitious project:

Building a home for our beautiful miniature Dachshunds Daisy and Buttercup.

I armed myself with the tools I needed and embarked on a new project.

The results were better than I could have imagined and the reaction on social media was incredible. It wasn’t long before I was being asked to make similar dog homes by admirers of my work. I even added a Garage so they each had their own space.

I decided to start making Dog Homes on a professional basis and set about starting my company "Lazy-Bones “.

I am happy to be able to build you a Bespoke/Custom made Dog or Cat home to fit your family friend. That means you can choose the size and colour combination that’s perfect for you and your pet. You can even decide the look, style and accessories - your imagination is the limit.
