The Reptiles Off Roadin' crew have loved all the Halloween visits so far and can't wait for more spooky visits today!

We have done a family event for Hutton, charity event for Chester, private Halloween parties, community events and more. Today we have a Halloween event at a local care home and more fun at Hickory's West Kirby.
Our animal encounters are fun for all ages and events but we really enjoy helping making your spooky events even spookier! 💚

8 of our brave staff are taking part in a sky diving event for the hospital, if you would like to make a donation there are tins in the store and we have a just giving page set up also.

Our friends over at Morrisons Chester our community are holding a very special Halloween event to raise funds for our Blue Skies Balcony Appeal!

Tickets are £4.50 and can be purchased at the kiosk in store!

The team are taking part in a skydive in November for the appeal and have lots of fabulous events planned.

Name: Sebastian & Tamatoa
Animal: Hermit Crabs
Fun fact: Named after 2 famous Disney crabs, this pair have only just recently joined the ROR team.
Hermit crabs are famous for carrying their homes around on their backs until they outgrow them and move into new ones. We've had a lot of fun finding new shells to offer them!

💛 Meet The Team 💚
Name: Jeff
Animal: crested gecko
Fun fact: crested geckos were thought to be extinct until they were rediscovered in 1994.

Jeff is a lovely gecko but he is W I L D!! He loves to jump and he does just that all the time! He uses his 'sticky' toe pads to walk up the walls and over the roof of his vivarium. Crested Geckos also have special pads on their semi-prehensile tails. This helps support them when jumping across the branches of the tress they inhabit.

We love this model of April the leopard gecko made by a child who saw us at a fun day recently 😍🦎💛
We think it's the perfect match with her cheeky tongue and spotty tail!

Name: Snap, Crackle & Pop
Animal: Jungle Nypmhs
Fun fact: The females reach an length of 15 cm and are the second most heavy insect in the world (the first is a big beetle). The males 10 cm in length, quite light and able to fly.

Recently we have attended care homes, schools, fun days and specialist education establishments as well as our very popular birthday parties.

Our encounters allow all ages to interact with our exotic pets and create a brilliant, 'wow' experience.

💛 Meet The Team 💚
Name: Ben & Jerry
Animal: Sugar Gliders
Random fact: Sugar gliders are palm-size possums that can glide quite far! They are nocturnal which is why they have big black eyes and they are part of the marsupial group so the females have little pouches for their young (like a kangaroo)
Ben & Jerry are both boys and unlike a lot of our animals, sugar gliders are very social and love to live in groups.
Ben & Jerry are not currently attending any encounters, as they are still bonding to Sarah and Ellena but we hope to bring them along to some Summer 2023 encounters once we know they will be safe.

Our animals make a B I G impact. We love when children have enjoyed meeting the animals so much they draw us pictures.

Check out this amazing picture by Frankie. He was so excited to meet the team he drew this picture, we love the detail on Scuttle the Cockatoo and Oreo the hedgehog!

Random fact: Coco is a black eyed leucistic python which means he has the cutest little black eyes 👀 🖤

Name: Bertie
Animal: Veiled Chameleon (sometimes referred to as a Yemen)
Random fact: They do change their colour however; it is not to match their surroundings. They are green in colouration with some yellow and blues and the colours change depending on their mood.
Chameleons have a prehensile tail that can wrap around tree branches while climbing - Bertie likes to use his to hold on to people he meets.
