Well done those of you that came this morning for some scentwork in the sunshine. Some good work from all of you.

Only 1 improved time in league 1 and no change for league 2.

Thank you for the puppy cuddles 😀 I hope she enjoyed watching the grown up dogs.

⭐️ Trail hunt progression class is already full, but if you missed the post in Sniffer club and would like to do one, let me know I'll add a Friday or Saturday one 😀

Still some spaces in scent detection and those league rosettes look up for grabs.

Some October dates for you.

Scent detection will focus again on timed searches for the league as time is running out to get your best times up on the board before December.

Scent detection will be on Saturday 19th October at 11.30am.

Trail hunt progression will be on Sunday 20th October at 11am 😀 just so those that want to do both can 😊

League 2 looks up for grabs, the fastest times for each section (in bold) are across the board!!

League 1, can Helen and Della be caught!!

Some great searches and improved times for everyone in most sections. 😀

Some Autumn classes for you 😀

IMDT partnership grade classes (general obedience) ideal for advancing your training after puppy classes, ideal for adolescence or for those just wanting to see some general improvements, you can even attend if you've done no training at all.

Grades 1-3 covered, working at the level you're at.

These will be on Friday mornings with a gap week during half term, the dates are:
October 18th, then 1st, 8th and 15th November at 10am.

It was lovely to see you trail hunters this morning 😀The dogs were all amazing after quite a long break...it was like they'd done it just yesterday.

I wish I'd taken some photos, especially of our humans trying to search against the dogs.

Humans 1 (I'm not sure this would have happened if we hadn't disturbed one of the resident deer!)

Let's see if our next group of humans can beat the dogs 😀

I will try and repeat this one for those that missed it and run another one soon, to tick off a couple more exercises...easier while we can park in the field.

Bronze level UK snifferdogs scent detection course.

Running on Fridays at 10am on August 30th and September 6th, 23th & 20th.

Suitable for complete novices, no training experience needed. Beneficial to all dogs for so many reasons, come along and start your scentwork journey.
