Ricky Gervais and Peter Egan are launching a new campaign with beautiful Beagle Betsy, who was rescued from a cruel laboratory dog breeder when she was just a pup. Betsy was saved by the Dog's Trust, just before she was due to be sold to a toxicology laboratory.

Betsy is helping Ricky and Peter call for a top science hearing to prove that experiments on dogs, and other animals, are also failing the search for human treatments and cures. You can read more about that medical evidence here: http://www.betsybeagle.org/science-campaign

110 cross-party Members of the UK Parliament are now calling for the science hearing, and a new Early Day Motion has been tabled so you can help.

I have just signed up for the BBC's Countryfile Plant Britain - as we have just planted over 20 trees (we planted120!) Thank you to everyone who has donated dog beds, towels, coats, collars, leads, blankets, snuggles and food over the last couple of months. These have been delivered today to Rochdale Dog Rescue's Eccleston kennels. Rescue dog Zion is happily modelling his smart new coat here and says he 'woofs' it! I am still happy to accept your kind donations on behalf of this wonderful charity. 🐶😘

Massive THANK YOU to Muckypups Manor for all the lovely goodies that Aunty Corrina dropped off at the kennels today for the dogs.
As you can see, Zion is very happy with his new collar & coat and Aunty Corrina was over the moon to get thank you kisses off him ❤

Covid 19 update 22nd Sep 2020 - The Government advice is to avoid mixing with any additional household in any location to further decrease the risk of spreading the virus. We are therefore only allowing bookings for single households/support bubbles (max 6 people). All group bookings e.g. dog birthday parties and breed meets have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Muckypups Manor – Covid 19 update ‘Rule of 6’
We have been following the Covid 19 secure guidelines right from the very start of this pandemic. From Monday 14 September, government advice regarding Covid-19 states that when meeting friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors. Regular field hire and dog party bookings will strictly be limited to 6 people. We already collect our customers contact information for purposes of informing any changes to bookings etc. therefore we are able to comply with the NHS Test and Trace programme.
Those attending the Dog Training Classes please see Harrisons Positive Dog Training website which details their exception from the rule of six as an example of training. Social distancing however remains in place. Let’s look after each other and keep everyone safe. 🐶

We have had to resubmit a NEW Planning Application to Chorley Council for a decision to be made on whether we can continue to use our land for a dog exercise/training field.
This means all previous comments in support of this application need to be resubmitted as well.
Unfortunately, complaints have been made to the Council in respect of Muckypups running from our home.
