🌞Summer has arrived and so we had some dogs who loved to sunbathe when having a nap, and some who preferred the shade.

💦We had lots of water based fun activities too to keep the dogs stimulated whilst also helping to keep them cool. Plus of course cooling jackets for some doggies too.

🤪🐶And then the usual amount of fun had with dogs playing with their friends and our highly trained Daycare Assistants.

Summer is here and we are well used to making sure the doggies in our care stay as cool as possible - as well as the hoomans who are our doggy daycare assistants too of course. 🌞

But not every hooman out there is aware of how dangerous the summer heat can be for their furry friends, so please feel free to save & share the image.

Also remember that the pavements get hot too - too hot for our doggy furiends paws 🐾 so be mindful of when you take them out for a walk. Burnt paw pads are a real risk as well as heat stroke.

Just because some of the hoomans love the heat, does not mean our loyal companions do too.

So enjoy Summer and have plenty of fun with your furkids but do so mindfully please. 😎🐶

Have you heard of Wellness Wednesdays?

Well we always encourage doggies in our care to be able to act on their natural behaviours which are stimulated through our variety of lessons, this helps to keep them mentally well. We also offer doggy massages for them when we wind down and have story times with them too.

But Parker took it upon himself to show off with some Doggy Yoga moves! Are you impressed 🤭

What a few days we have had for the Admin team, the Welcoming the doggies into Daycare Reel all of a sudden, 3 weeks after posting, went viral and our notifications went crazy!

Thank you to all of the doggies who featured and now have amassed some fans! 🐶🤩 And so thank you to all of our new followers too 🫶

There were requests for group photos, I will try and keep the page updated with photos more often. I also wanted to show photos of Luna having fun playing as a few people seemed concerned she wasn’t as enthusiastic as the other doggies.

When the Reel was filmed, it was the first time Luna was meeting the Daycare assistant who was calling her for the filming, and she had only been with us for a month, so she actually did amazingly well. She knows how to pace herself and enjoys her snoozes, but she also knows how to have lots of fun with her furiends.

We appreciate those who show any concern, but please believe us when we say that all of the doggies happiness & welfare is our top priority.

The ’Easter Bunny’ has been in all week having lots of fun with all of the doggies in daycare. I’m not sure who enjoyed it the most 😁🐶🐰

I’m sure I don’t need to remind our parents, but for any new puppy and doggy parents out there who may see this - you need to be extra vigilant when chocolate in abundance is about. Especially if you haven’t yet done food avoidance training with your pup. Remember chocolate is toxic to doggies and we want you to have loads of fun together, not an emergency vets trip.

Depending on what animal calendar you go by, today is either ‘national pet day’ or ‘love your pet day’, either way, it’s a good day to celebrate all the love of the doggies in our lives. 🐶💖

We know that your dogs aren’t ‘just’ or ‘only’ a pet: they are family members, furkids to many, and so as much as we encourage their natural doggie behaviours and how important it is for them to socialise with other doggies, when they come into our care, they will never be short on love either 🫶
