Anxious dogs🐾

It’s very common for dogs to experience anxiety, especially when being groomed. This can be triggered by being separated from their owners, loud noises, being uncomfortable with socialisation and many other reasons.
When a dog is anxious with going to the groomers it can be difficult for the groomer and stressful for the pup.

What can you do to help with that?
Zulu is the perfect example of a well looked after anxious pup. My client keeps on top of the brushing to insure he doesn't get matted or too over grown and has regular grooms and stays consistent with him.

How do groomers deal with anxious dogs?
* ��Preferably, having them in when no other dogs are in there.
* ��keeping the noise level low.
* ��Being kind, gentle and having patience, ensuring they are as comfortable as possible.
If your pup is anxious, let the groomer know before hand so they can best prepare for the groom making it a smoother experience for everyone.
