It’s with pain and sadness that I am writing this post on behalf of Dave.

Our beautiful, brave, Hero Finn passed away peacefully in his sleep last night.

He was so loved by everyone and will be missed incredibly.

Dave will in time be back on social media but we hope that you can all respect our privacy over the next few days while we grieve.

Thank you for your service Finn, now go and Rest in peace our sweet boy, until we meet again 🐾

Any students looking for any equipment.... I am selling 2 grooming tables and a cabinet dryer. The tables are electric, on wheels £250 each and the cabinet dryer is £600. The cabinet dryer hasn't been used a great deal over the years and has been looked after and maintained. I can't deliver anything but collection is from camp farm in Bulkington.

💊 Paracetamol 💊

Paracetamol is a widely used medication that the majority of people will have in their homes. It is also worth mentioning that paracetamol is commonly found on the market combined with other drugs such as aspirin and codeine, as well as compound preparations such as caffeine, decongestants and antihistamines; all of which can be a toxicity concern. In overdose, paracetamol can cause swelling of the face and paws, breathing difficulties, anaemia and liver failure.

⚠️Paracetamol is commonly prescribed to dogs under the strict direction of a Veterinary Surgeon and it should be noted that this is safe. Your vet will have performed a thorough clinical assessment to ascertain whether the drug can be given and will have calculated the correct dose to prescribe. You should NOT self medicate your pet at home as this will very likely result in an overdose and could lead to serious and potentially fatal consequences⚠️

❗It is import to note that paracetamol MUST not be given to cats under any circumstance - this is because cats are highly sensitive to the drug and therefore a small amount can cause serious clinical effects. ❗

If your pet has been exposed to an overdose of paracetamol, please call the Animal PoisonLine today on 01202 509000 for triage advice. For veterinary professionals, please call the VPIS on 02073 055 055 for case-specific treatment advice.

We are looking for a model dog for our student who has nearly finished her practical days. We need some model dogs whom are in good health, can stay from 9.30am until about 1.30pm, have a good temperament, are good for grooming and are of a similar breed, or are the actual breeds required: West Highland terrier, cavalier King Charles, German shepherd, golden retriever, dachshund or border terrier. Small breeds £20 and large breeds £30.

Millie's Paws are running the 5k battersea muddy Paws challenge on 10th September. We are aiming to raise £300 between the 3 of us. We will be running with dog's, and although I've lost Millie I will be running in her memory and also running with my mums little dog. I know times are hard but if you're able to donate and help us raise our minimum target for Battersea we will be super grateful. We will update our progress through the months!
