Dog show classes Free to all entries

First class Start 11.30am
classes are;
Young handler aged 16 or under
Best puppy under 1yo
Best veteran over 7yo
Scruffiest dog
Dog Jusge would like to take home
Snappy sit competition (musical bumps for dogs )
All classes are free to enter and you can enter as many as you like

Please keep all dogs on leads
Pick up after your dog.. plenty bins available
Water stations around the site

No aggressive or reactive dogs please

Children must be supervised/ accompanied by an adult

SCURRY competition
Runs all day from 10.30am to 3pm
Fastest dog to fetch 2 retrieves
Great fun and only £3 per entry

Dummy throwing competition
3pm in the dog arena
3 canvas dummies thrown into a bucket closest wins a bottle of very nice Gin

A great day out with lots of stands and kids activities so make sure to come and join us

Our Wee Fizz ran in the all age spaniel test at this years Scottish game fair.. she is a soft wee dog but the big arena didn’t seem to phase her.. 7th out if 16 so we are delighted with her progress this year .. here is a wee clip of her final water retrieve.. a shot in the line then a mark to shot in the water which she marked beautifully being only one of 2 dogs to gain 20/20

Superb retrieve today at central Scotland gundog clubs summer test for Birgit Wefers and Tilli .. a well deserved 20. One of the few dogs to not need any handling at all . 👏👍

My Story

In 2018 I decided to turn my passion and my hobby into a full time career.

i have been a UK showjumping coach for over 30 years, which kept me busy coaching riders from grass roots to international level. Along side this I have successfully bred and trained and worked my own dogs, including spaniels and retrievers.

Now that I have turned my full attention to running Ascot Dog Training on a full time basis I have had time to get my dogs out during the season and enjoy picking up at my local shoot. This season I aim to get the young dogs out to working tests.

I have been coaching people and animals my whole life and thrive on seeing my pupils progress their skills.
