Good advice, it takes 5 mins to do. I know just did it!
Over the last 12 months we have shared pictures of 20 stray dogs and 18 stray cats to this page! Of these, only 8 had microchips, all of which had out of date owner details on them. Thankfully, the majority of the dogs were reunited with their owners through the power of Facebook, but not so the cats. Very few of them made their way home, almost all of them were re-homed through local charities (a big thank you to them). This is a plea to all our cat owners: PLEASE get your cat microchipped! Even indoor only cats can escape or be stolen. Collars can be removed. Microchipping is quick, permanent and relatively pain-free. Please, if you haven't already, ring your branch and make an appointment for your cat. If your pet is chipped: are your details up to date? Have you moved, or changed your mobile number lately? Please check. Help us help your pet get home. ❤️🐈🐩🐕
