At Stanhope Park Veterinary Hospital we strongly advocate the neutering of all cats that are not intended for breeding. This is to prevent unwanted litters, to limit the cat population especially in rescues, control feral populations and to help prevent diseases like FeLV, FIV and some cancers.
We are presently supporting this scheme launched by the Cats Protection where you can have your cat neutered and microchipped for only £10 if you are on means tested benefits. We will neuter all cats from four months of age.
If you are eligible and want to book your cat in, please call us. If you can not make the appointment, please reschedule with plenty of time, as we will have to turn away clients that persistently fail to attend appointments.

I saw this idea somewhere, I hope whoever came up with it gets due credit. Great idea! Our neighbor is older and lives alone so I gave her 3 colour pieces of paper for her window which faces our kitchen window. Green is for I'm OK, yellow for need help with an errand, and red for emergency. I call it Isolation Communication 🙂 Let's all look out for each other people.

I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.
