On Saturday evening some of us took part in the Maverick Dark Castle Race at Corfe Castle.... Needless to say, Graham ran the best time over the longest distance!! It was fun - great atmosphere and a beautiful setting.

We said good-bye to Callum last week, which means that we are looking for a new vet to join our fabulous team.

As many of you may already know, our fantastic vet Callum is leaving us next week. We are all very sad to see him go, but he and his wife Kirsty (also an equine vet) have decided to re-locate back to Norfolk where she is from. He has been a huge asset to our team in the short time he has been here.
We are sorry not to have been able to persuade them to settle in Dorset, but wish them both all the best for the future.
Dorset's loss is Norfolk's gain.

That's a wrap!! Dorset County Show 2024 was muddy and wet but we had a great weekend. 😀🌧🌥💧☔️

The dogs particularly enjoyed it - especially Beetle who was "meeting and greeting" all weekend at her 15th Dorset County Show and ate her body weight in treats 🐾💚🐾💚

Thank you to everyone who came to see us on the stand.

!!!! A warning that our electricity is being turned off on Monday morning (12th August) between 9.00 and 12.30. Not ideal!
We hope it won't affect us as a generator should kick in......🤞🤞

However, if this fails we will need to divert the phone line to a mobile, so please bear with us on Monday morning if you cant get straight through to us.

If it is NOT an emergency, please delay your call until later in the day. This will ensure that the line is kept clear for emergencies in the morning.

Phew!! That was a busy week for us 🐴. 2 full operating days, 7 surgeries completed ✅. All patients discharged ✅. Let’s hope they all recover well with no complications and are back in action very soon 🤞🐴🤞
