He is very uncomfortable with his feet nails being touched but slow and steady as per the guidance he quietly lies whilst I do short bursts on each of his nails it will take time to get to the ideal length but he is not anxious and there is no danger of my hurting him. 👩‍🔬"First I turn it on and let him hear it, then I move it all over his paws and legs so he feels the vibration and notices no pain, then I use it on one nail and do it like 4 times see what happens ,if nothing I'll do a second nail four times, by then he leaves. I've done 2 nails a day first 2 days then all 4 next day all on same paw. So far he still fights me and eventually leaves but I figured I can get them all done and continue a little at a time."

"Fred is a seven year old large greyhound retired from racing. His toenails are too thick to be cut with the normal nail clippers and I was worried about damaging them and he wasn't keen either. I decided to try Paw Lapidary because they had reviews from owners of large dogs who were very pleased. After introducing the Paw Lapidary to Fred gently and with some treats to help, he got used to the sound and sensation. Now he barely opens an eyelid and even accepts his treats lying down. 🐶"I have a rescue who was traumatized. Our visits to the vet were full of cryes and pain. So, I bought this and now do it at home. I just sat on the floor, started the grinder and gave him treats, so he could get used to it. Then I did the same, but started touching his paw with my hand while the grinder was working. And gave him treats. Lots of treats. I was repeating those steps and each time puting the grinder closer, but not grinding. Just to got him used to having the grinder on his foot. Feeling the vibration. Then I slowly touched one nail with the grinder. And gave him treats again. Still not grinding. Then touched his nail with the grinder itself. Take it step by step. If one step fails, go back to the previous step until he is comfortable. Keep the sessions short and fun. In just two days we learnt and got used to the machine together. And now we do it regularly without fear! This product is so amazing! They also gave me a cute e-book with my order, it had a step by step guide and it was super easy to follow it. I recommend it to every dogowner out there"
