I would like to make all my customers aware I only do dog boarding in customers homes .
I have one reactive dog in my home.
On occasion I look after family dogs.
Many will be aware that I’m now concentrating on customer homes. I do dog training. No day care.

Top five ways to keep your home and dog cool in the heat of summer

Number one
If you keep all your windows and doors closed and curtains during the day.
only opening your windows up on an evening or night time, then you’re home will stay very cold during the day .
This way you’re not letting the hot air in .

Number two
Plenty of cold water.
Keep topping up the water bowl as much as you can . Avoid putting ice cubes in water bowls.
This can cool down your dog too quickly.

Number three
dogs loved cold tiled or laminate flooring. Make a space if you can if you have that type of flooring, for your dog to lie down.
There’s plenty of things on the market these days cooling blankets and jackets they help to cool down your dog slowly.

Number four
It’s not wise to take your dog out between the hours of 11am and 3pm
If the forecast says that the temperature is going to be 23°, you can guarantee pavements or other parts of the road may be very hot . If you have to find grassy area’s.

Number five

 you might find that in the hot weather, your dog doesn’t eat very much .
putting down little amounts of food often sometimes can help.
Always consult a veterinary professional if you’re worried.

And remember, no one knows your dog like you.

Dog’s die in hot cars. Be careful when leaving a dog in a car.
