Being a behaviourist is not just about working and training the dog, to make a difference we need to teach the other end of the lead to even begin to see any changes in the dog.
This session excited me very much to literally see the dog talk to us through her body language.

Yep, we need rules and boundaries and lots of individual training or this natural guardian will be a handful to live with.
Train your dog now before bad behaviours become so ingrained that we then have to undo what has been inadvertently nurtured before training can really begin.

This little dude walked into our training centre this afternoon wanting everyone to know he was there, (like everyone in a 5 mile radius!)
He walked out a calmer dog with a great training plan under his collar, and was advised to attend next session... naked ;)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with this handsome boy today. He's reactive, and at a guess around 50kg.
His previous trainer/behaviourist had recommend he wears a harness, (not one with a front link) So, reactive dog v standard harness, I think we can guess where we are at and what we have to undo. Lifestyle turnaround now in progress as 'phase 1' to change his mind set.
It's massively doable.

Fantastic training sesh this afternoon piecing together commands and training a distracted mind.
These dogs soak up their training like a sponge.
Job satisfaction right there..... ✅

Oh hello gorgeous girly

Stay clear of well meaning Internet dog training forums and look for help from a dog trainer or behaviourist in person that knows (like really knows) your breed of dog.
This little reactive beauty literally transformed her behaviour in front of our eyes when handled appropriately for the breed and probably more importantly her breeding!

We had the absolute pleasure working with this handsome lad today. Super reactive due to his owners getting p**s poor advice from previous 'positive only' dog training 'Instructors'
Anyway....He is now back on track to being an awesome dog who is managed according to his breed and breeding!

We are fully aware of the embarrassing spelling mistake, I guess its a cross between Belgium and Belgian! Either way Facebook won't let us change it for 3 days!

2nd individual session today and already we are seeing a massive improvement, (especially after a quiet little word in his ear today)..."when we call you, you must return instantly, its not open to negotiation dude"
So excited to follow this dogs progress and watch him become a sports dogs.

We met this very handsome boy today... (he was most relieved to know that we didn't recommend castration ;) )
We worked on control, focus, engagement and management.
Training wise was all about teaching the fundamental basics and how those commands open up a better quality of life for him and his family.
So pleased our paths crossed and we got to work with you 😀
