Our Story

Welcome to Faithful Paws! My name is Bryony and I have been working with dogs for over 10 years working both within rescue centres and with owners and their dogs. The goal of Faithful Paws is to provide fun, positive training for both you and your dog; creating a faithful bond. My journey started when I adopted my first dog Milo in 2007, from here I started to volunteer for the small rescue that I had adopted him from. In 2008 I started a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare, which I completed in 2011 whilst continuing to volunteer at the rescue centre. From here I went on to work full time as an animal welfare assistant in another local rescue, progressing on to working for two of the largest dog charities in the UK.

I live with my wife and our 3 dogs in Shepperton, all of which are rescues. We have owned a number of dogs between us over the years with various needs, both medical and behavioural. I guess the saying “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life” could be said about me.

My aim is to help owners and their dogs with the difficulties that invariably come up as a dog owner. These can cover a wide breadth of areas including separation anxiety, reactivity to other dogs or people, handling problems and training issues to name but a few.

Problems can occur really early on in the relationship between you and your dog, you may have recently adopted a dog from a rescue and are struggling. You and your dog may have been faithful friends for years but suddenly something changes. Whatever your worry or concern, there is no problem too small, please feel free to contact me.
