Festive pampers have begun! What's not to love about this time of year? As a gift from me to your pooches, everyone will be offered a festive shampoo and fragrance alongside a Christmas photo. You're also still getting the same luxury add ons just with a festive twist and at no extra charge! 🎅🌲 For many years I've done backdrops so I decided it was time to get a little technical, and I love how cute they've turned out ❤️🐾

Just a few pampered pooches who have visited the salon recently 😍 I've also added a picture of the current memorial wall. Thank you to everyone for the amazing support with the memorial for our beloved pets, I've been blown away by the response and knowing how much it means to so many of you really warms my heart. I've still got loads of memorials to add this weekend and I will also be adding an area where a candle will permanently be lit in remembrance ❤️🐾

💕 We will be in unity at the rainbow bridge 💕

Many of you that have recently visited the salon may have noticed my new memorial wall. Every single dog that comes to the salon is special and every single dog has helped me grow as a groomer. Your dogs are more than just a number here at Unity. I've been heartbroken with the number of pooches who have passed to rainbow bridge over the recent months and I can only imagine how you must feel; I think about my Brucie every single day. Some have been with me right from the beginning when my salon doors opened and have been such a major part in my journey. So I decided to have a special place in the salon where they can be remembered forever. They will always be loved. If you would like your beloved friend on the memorial please do let me know, I will only add them with your permission 🐾🌈

Just a reminder that the salon is shut this week so we can spend it with our birthday girl 😍🎉 All messages will be replied to next week. I've been making good use of my time off as always and got really into decorating Lilly's cake...of course I had to put pumpkins on for our little halloween baby 🎃 Have a lovely week everyone and see you on the other side of the mountain of wrapping paper ❤️

Transformation Thursday! You can only imagine how satisfying it was to remove all of Junior's dead undercoat. And just look how happy he was after his pamper 😁 Gorgeous Dior is always so patient when I'm defluffing Junior but I do keep her busy with treat puzzles which she loves! 😋 It's always nice to give the pooches some enrichment on their visits to the salon.

I hear so often that short haired dogs or dogs that don't require clipping don't need to be groomed and it's so far from the truth. Regular bathing and de-shedding helps to keep the skin and coat clean but more importantly healthy 🐶🐾

Milo comes in every month for his pamper and now he's bringing along his new little friend Coco 😍 She had her first puppy groom and didn't she do well! It is so important to start puppy grooms as early as possible to get your pooches used to everything...and of course to eat all the groomers goodies 😂🐾

Controversial topic here, but I'm so saddened to hear about the XL Bully ban!

It is so dissapointing and something I certainly don't stand by. It's about time the owners get more strongly prosecuted and breeding dogs becomes much more regulated to stop all these back street breeders lining their pockets 😡

What is the world coming to? Are we going to ban everything that can cause harm instead of looking at the person? Every single dog no matter what breed has the potential to cause injury. In the same way every sharp object can. I have and still do groom numerous bully breeds and not once have I been bitten, scratched or anything by these dogs. Infact I've been bitten more and seen more aggressive behaviour from the smaller breeds of dogs that are presumably deemed 'safe'? Being bitten will not stop me grooming a dog, there is a reason for the behaviour and it's about working together to help each and every dog!

I have worked in numerous kennels and rescue centres and equally have had nothing but positive experiences with this breed. I remember when I owned Bruce my staffy cross and people would cross the road when they saw him. How awful that there is so much hype and media about these dogs but not smaller dog attacks. It's another way that the government and people in a position of power can manipluate how we feel and how we view certain things, frankly it's disgusting.

This year it will be the bully, which breed will we blame next? 😡 To all my responsible bully customers, I stand by you. I understand it's such a worrying time not knowing what is going to happen in the following months but your pooches will always be welcome in my salon for their pampers. No discrimination here ❤️🐾

Regular boy Baxter came along with his son Bodie today...it's fair to say I had the best afternoon of cuddles 😍 Bodie is inseperable from his dad and insisted he slept on the table whilst I groomed him, patiently waiting for his puppy pamper. He was making me feel tired 😂 He looks so grown up after his groom. Enjoy a photo spam of these beautiful boys from beginning to end 🐾

Taking pictures of all your gorgeous pooches is definitely one of my favourite parts of dog grooming especially when you can get the cutest family photos 😍 It's certainly not always easy and my camera roll is full of 'test shots' made up of dogs stuffing their faces with treats, blurry action shots with the tennis ball, side angles the list goes on! It's all part of the fun 🤣🐾
