These are the days you just don’t want. Sadly today I was contacted this morning by Barckley’s mum to say they had to make the decision to give Barckley his angel wings. I visited Barckley and his sister Breya many times and I always got the biggest of smiles from Barckley. I’m glad I got to visit them on Saturday night where I gave him a kiss and cuddle before I left as I did think it may be my last time seeing this beautiful boy. My heart goes out to his mum and dad just now as it’s not an easy time. So today it’s all about Barckley on the page. Fly high beautiful boy ❤️

Today we had to take Teddy one of our own dog’s to the vet as he had a sore ear but while there he thought he’d give a helping hand at reception. Just the job for a dog who just loves people and meeting the other dogs and he even said hello to a rabbit nose to nose

The owner of Benji and Cai is touched by all the kind comments and support for help. She now feels there is a light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. We have been in contact with various rescues who sadly like ourselves just have no capacity. We have received a few applications offering possible homes and one possible rescue back up and these have been forwarded on to the owner and she has already followed these up. The owner is doing everything possible to keep them safe and we will continue to support them by taking all possible enquiries.

Life or death emergency rehoming needed - Ideally a rescue space but these two are running out of time the owner will consider any responsible home.

The situation for Cai and Benji is urgent - if they do not find a home by the end of the month they will be put to sleep as there is no where for them to go. We have no space, rescues are full everywhere.

Benji and Cai have found themselves looking urgently for a new home due to tragic circumstances and no fault of their own. Benji is 8 years 3 months and Cai is 6 years and 9 months and have the same parents and are Kelpie Collie crosses. Both are very sweet and sociable pair. They have lived with children and were brought up with cats. The are good with other dogs if a little 'over friendly'.

Being an animal lover I can never not form an attachment to the furries I visit and it’s always sad when I hear that one has gone over the rainbow bridge but he wasn’t even 2 years old. RIP Blue. No more pain little man
