We sneakily got married and went off on a little family honeymoon!

So after some time away, it’s back to work today & I will be getting back to all messages, and also posting my September availability over the next few days.

Hi guys,

July is fully booked. The salon is closed from 20th July - 1st August.

Only 2 spaces left in august:
- 15th 9am
- 29th 2:30pm

Spaces available in September, please book well in advance for your regular appointments! I recommend at least 8 weeks notice.

From September my hours are changing slightly. They will be as follows:
Monday 9am-4pm
Thursday 9am - 3pm
Friday 9am - 3pm

As always, please be on time for drop offs & collections. I’m working to a very tight schedule to get you all in, and I will also be doing the nursery run from September so if you are late, you WILL be charged.

From May, I will be offering a couple of appointments on Fridays as I finish my maternity leave. Dates & times tbc but drop me a message if you’re interested in a slot!

From September I will be working 3 full days, as opposed to the shorter working hours I’m currently operating on, due to Ivy going to nursery.

Hi everyone,

I am having a re-evaluation of prices to make it more fair and even across the board. Prices are going to be based on the time it takes to groom your dog & not just the breed as short all over trims take less time than longer coats, thicker coats take longer to dry, behavioural issues sometimes extend the groom etc. I have also seen increases in product & running costs. Some of your prices will remain the same, and some of them are going to increase. All based on an individual basis. I’ll be in touch with each of you to confirm what the prices will be.

These new prices will come into effect from the 1st May. I am also updating my terms and conditions which include information on late drop offs/pick ups and cancellations and I will require every client to agree and sign. If you could all provide me with your email addresses then I will do this over email so you all have copies.

This will enable me to continue to provide you with the best service I can & keep the business going. I will also have more availability from September as I return to work properly from maternity leave.

Just to let everyone know I am booked up 8 weeks in advance at the moment. March & April have no spaces. And there are limited spaces left in May too - see previous post for available dates.

Highly recommend booking at least your next 2 appointments in advance, especially if you need a specific day or time.

Sorry if I haven’t been able to get you in. I had to prioritise the clients that needed haircuts the most & draw at random to make it fair. I just physically couldn’t get you all in. I should have replied to everyone now. If I’ve missed you please pop me a message.

My diary is open for Mondays and Thursdays in 2024 - I’ll be off for a couple weeks over Christmas/ beginning of Jan. Spaces will fill up fast so i recommend booking at least a few in advance. I hope to increase my days later in the year but for now my main job will be mummy 🥰

I also have available 7th & 21st December - I have so many of you to fit in, so if you are also available these days please can you pop a comment on this post and this week I will schedule you all in where possible.

Please note that once your appointment is booked I will require 48 hours notice for cancellations, or the full groom fee will be payable. I also please ask that you stick to your appointment time - if you arrive early please wait to ring the bell. This applies to collecting and dropping off. And you must not be late! If you are more than 15 minutes late to arrive, I will not be able to fulfil your appointment but you will still be charged. And if you are late to collect after the groom there will be a late collection fee.

I know this may sound mean, but I have to run a tight schedule to get you all in, plus be on time for my childcare, so I hope you all understand 😊

Hi everyone,

Just popping on quickly to say hello 👋🏼 I’m still soaking up my little one and enjoying our baby bubble, as well as getting in as much sleep as I can to get me through the sleepless nights 😴

It really is true what they say about time going so fast, she changes every day 😢 and so I have completely switched off from work - if you have text or messaged I’m not ignoring you, I just haven’t looked at my work phone! But just wanted to quickly let you know I will be coming back to do a few days in December. At the minute I can offer 4th, 11th & 18th. Further dates tbc. There are a limited number of appointments available, I won’t be able to get everyone in unfortunately but will do my best to accommodate. At the minute I won’t be doing an 8am appointment - the first appointment will be 9am. If you would like an appointment on one of these dates, please could you pop me a message/text with the dates & times you are available and I will get back to everyone over the next few weeks to sort out bookings.

PUPPIES! Let’s talk about proper introductions! This is Eddie, he’s a “poochon” - so poodle x bichon. His first visit was at 12 weeks old, he’s now nearly 1year in this video. Relaxed, calm, completely comfortable with the grooming process. He comes every 6 weeks and he races in like an absolute maniac! We have a great relationship. This is what you are aiming for with you puppy! I like to see my puppies as soon as they’re all jabbed up & able to go out. First session will be a puppy intro - getting used to me, lots of treats & cuddles, bathing, blow drying, nail clipping and a little trimming if they will allow. 2nd session a few weeks later & we will do the same thing. It’s nonsense if you have been told no trimming until 6 months or whatever. The sooner, the better. Puppies at this age are so much more accepting & soak everything up like a sponge. It’s SO important. At the end of the day, they will need grooming for their whole lives. Why not make it as positive as possible? Well…. That’s a wrap for 2022! I’ve had the best time getting all your doggos spruced up! Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas bandanas & photos. Thank you for all my tips, gifts & cards. It’s so very kind & greatly appreciated. I’m now having 10 days off 🎉 and going to eat a lot of food, and sleep in past 6:30am!
