Peach, Trip and friends did great on BGT last night. Both dogs come in every six weeks for grooming with us to keep them looking good. Regular appointments help to be able to keep your dog knot free, so make sure you rebook everytime you pick up your dog. Best of luck to Lucy and her canine crew in the rest of the BGT programme.

Please keep in mind that we will soon be moving into a busy time of year for grooming so please book ahead.

Early booking is essential, so take a look at your hairy hound now and make an appointment soon for when you feel your dog may need a groom

Thank you to all my clients for bringing their dogs to me this year, it’s been a busy run upto to Christmas but I’m glad to get as many four legged friends spruced up and looking the part for the big day

Fun dog show on the 2nd sept 2023 at the Harlaxton social club grounds, Manor drive, Grantham NG321HU as part of the Harlaxton summer fayre

Entries are £1.50 per class with all proceeds being donated to Dogs for good

Entries taken from 12pm Judging starts at 1pm

Rosettes for 1st to 4th plus Best in show

Classes are as follows

Prettiest puppy (dog under 12 months old only)
Most handsome male dog
Prettiest female dog
Best harlaxton hound (dog to reside in the village)
Dog with the Waggiest tail
Best condition
Best rescue
Most appealing eyes
Best crossbreed
Dog judge would most like to take home

Plus a rosette for Best in show chosen from all the class winners

The Summer fayre will have a fabulous Birds of prey display following the dog show as well as children’s games, penalty shoot out, villager car boot, stalls, ice cream etc so come along and enjoy the dog show and fayre

You are responsible for your dogs actions while on the showground and please can you pick up after your dogs

Please can you book your dog in now if you require it groomed in February or March. January is much busier than expected so very limited appointments before the start of February

It is always advisable to book your dogs next appointment after each visit to avoid disappointment

Just in case any customers have snow globes on their Christmas tree just be aware they could contain antifreeze which is poisonous to dogs
