The Royal Veterinary College are currently running a survey into pet ownership and where owners source information with respect to their dog’s health. The survey is until this Sunday.
Good relationships between vets and dog owners relies upon the veterinary profession's understanding of owner thoughts, feelings and behaviours. To this end, a new member of the RVC team, Michelle Farrow RVN, a registered veterinary nurse, is conducting a study as part of her Master of Research degree, exploring how owners' approach healthcare decisions when their dog appears unwell.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Please take part in the DogWeb survey! This study involves completing an approximately 15-20 minute online, interactive survey. This is not your 'average' survey! The study involves immersing yourself in three real-life situations (a random selection from a large bank of cases), where a dog (a real-life case) has some physical and/or mental changes, and we want to know what you, as a dog owner, would do. We are interested in your approach, including if, how and why you turn to online resources, in the increasingly online world we live in.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
All UK based owners of dogs who are currently alive. Please share the survey link below with any friends or family in the UK who own a dog too!
