Little Ella came as a model dog today for our student Naomi, she practiced her first head trim on her too!
All dogs are gone over after by Amy and overseen 1:1 for absolute safety ❤️🙌

This groom cost Ella's mummy less that half price!

1st week learning to become a dog groomer and we've learnt lots!
From bathing and drying techniques, deshedding, prep work, clipping and trimming!

This is the plus to private tuition and not group - you learn so much more FASTER and properly.

Our lovely new student Naomi is with us doing her Professional Dog Grooming Course. Only 2 days in and we are already clipping and starting to get to grips with the scissors and weve nailed deshedding and pad clearing. Well done Naomi, you are doing amazing ❤️ ✂️

So mega proud of our very own staff member Abbie!

Abbie came having never groomed before to me in January to begin her Level 3 OCN, her first groom of Daisy was brilliant for a first ever attempt but just just 5 months later she is absolutely SMASHING it turning out this standard of work in the salon!! I was so impressed with Abbie on her training course and her brilliant attitude and natural flare for grooming that I offered her a job here at GoldWalk Dog Grooming & Wellness Centre.

Well done Abbie, you are a star 🌟

Daphne was really struggling with the heat so heartbreakingly I gave her the Chop 😭 best for my girl though, humanity before vanity and I practice what I preach 🙌 short teddy style with a short head. Not the best trim as I ran out of time! Her coat is a NIGHTMARE as its so so soft! Means sc******ng is the hardest!!

A very big well done to Claire who absolutely smashed her groomer improvement course! We worked on teddy bear grooms and drop coats, learnt about corrective grooming and putting in angulation to the coat. It's been a pleasure having you 🙌✂️🐾
