It’s that time of year again where firework displays are happening and people are setting off fireworks. Not every dog loves them so here are some things to try and help out your furry friend!

~ If you have a radio or Alexa ect. put Classic FM on… classic music is very calming for dogs

~ On the TV if you can put on Dog TV on YouTube (if not on any mobile device you can get access to YouTube)

~ Put a towel over their head and put a peg to keep it secure, this can help muffle the loud bangs from the fireworks

~ If your dog nibbles at their feet if they get scared get a pair of socks and put them on their feet

~ Try not to react to fireworks because that can make dogs more anxious

~ Take them for a walk before it gets dark

~ Put a blanket and some toys under the table so they have a safe place to hide from the fireworks

This week is my 2nd year being open!

I would like to thank all the 2 legs and 4 paws that have walked through the door these last 2 years. Every dog has been a lesson and I’m so grateful to have those experiences. And here’s to many more paws coming to All 4 Paws!

“Time flies when you’re having fun” that can’t be more true because how has it been 2 years!!

I appreciate the trust you all put in me to look after your fur babies for a few hours because I know how it feels to leave them with someone as I’ve been in that position myself! I have the best clients a dog groomer could ask for ♥️
