It's with a heavy heart I have to inform you all I will be taking a step away from grooming full time and starting a new adventure at the start of May! I'd like to thank you all for all your support over the last 8 years! If your booked in after this date please don't panic I will still be there :) and I will continue to clip in the autumn and winter! Once again a big thank you to you all!

So after I'd finished up with all my lovely clients horses today I decided to hide from the rain and finish off my Groom Clean, Bedmax bedding and Medi-k Courses. A computer glitch meant I didn't manage to download the bedmax certificate but I've got the others :)

Clipped this stunning traditional cob today, she was very nervous but with patients and a little bit of feed this lovely little lady stood for a nice little clip! We built up from a tiny bib and decided to go for a shallow chase. We wanted to make sure it was a nice experience for her and didn't want to push her limits to far. Thank you to my client for getting this lovley in progress photo too 😁

Still able to clip, I will be following the guidelines I'll ask that you wear a mask and ensure you have sanitised your hands and I will also bring my mask and will make sure everything is santized :)

✅Yes. Freelance grooms can go to work as they are not able to 'work from home' so our understanding is that freelancers can continue to operate and provide services, including clipping.
✅As long as you are not breaching government guidelines (which you are not), you are insured for your business activity as per your BGA personal accident and/or Freelance Groom Liabitity insurance.
ℹ️All freelancers should adhere to strict social distancing measures and enhanced biosecurity guidelines. We would strongly recommend before travelling to any yards check with the yard owner/manager that it is okay to do so and that you adhere to strict biosecurity and social distancing measures.

This weeks clip of choice seems to have been the chase! This is a great clip for horses in light/medium work. Gets off the bits that get sweaty and leaves enough to keep the important bits warm :)
