Heat Stress
Heat stress starts as a reversible condition, but if not managed it will develop to heat stroke, which is extremely dangerous.
If your pet shows any of these signs, they should be moved to a cool area and offered plenty of water to drink.

Piggy had a caesarian section back in April. Look how much her babies have grown. Green and Yellow are now 3 months old and came in to be micro-chipped at Ellenbrook this week.

Now we finally have warmer weather, some important information for our bunny owners. 🐰🐇

Flystrike happens more often in warm weather, and in rabbits who have soiled fur (often due to poor diet, obesity or arthritis). 🐰🐾

Throughout the spring and summer rabbits must be checked twice daily and any soiled fur cleaned. If you find any sign of fly eggs or maggots you must arrange for your rabbit to see a vet as soon as possible.

🐭🐶🐱MAY'S PATIENT OF THE MONTH 🐱🐭🐶

Drum roll 🥁🥁🥁 is Mollie
Mollie was playing in the garden with her sister where she managed to injure her hock.
Following surgery, she comes for regular bandage changes with the nurses while her wound heals. She is also undergoing Phovia light therapy, to support the skins natural regeneration process and speed up her healing.
Mollie is a delightful patient throughout her treatment and well deserving of May's Patient of the Month.
