So as many of you know , when I first moved to Australia I had an unfortunate injury . For all of the broken bones I’ve had I’ve been lucky enough to walk away with out surgery . Unfortunately this time I wasn’t able to . After having major surgery to put a metal rod and screws into my tibia to secure a break and then having multiple complications for it to not be healing 18 weeks after the break . I finally have some good news . 7 months later my leg has finally started to heal and the bones and now starting to become unionised . I am finally back to work and only another 6 weeks potentially left untill I can expect to be able to get back in the saddle and work closer with the horses ❤️
As many of my clients know I have moved to Australia 🇦🇺
I am absolutely loving it out here , however I also had a severe injury which unfortunately put me on the back burner when it comes to equines .
I have some exciting prospects planned for when I am cleared to go back to riding and working with our four legged friends ❤️

I potentially have available a Dartmoor hill pony . He is 2 years old and will be gelded shortly . He is only just halter broken and has come off the Moors. Would make an excellent company pony or a project for someone knowledgable to back and break and have as a cracking kids pony. Already showing great potential and talent in his movement and would excell in the show ring .
I currently have ⛵️ a beautifull 16.3 Tb gelding .
He is an absolute saint in every way and form However his heart is no longer in racing .
He is ROR eligible and would make a fantastic show prospect , equally he would make a fantastic event horse or hunt horse .
He has gone trail hunting and for his first time he was foot perfect , couldn’t have faulted him in any way . He will go up front , at the middle and at the rear . He stands lovely in the field and will come away from the field with no problems.
He has three beautifull paces and Carry’s himself naturally , has a fantastic pop over fences and is bold and brave.
He has come straight out of training so is fit and ready to go and have some fun with as competition season starts .

Paddy is a 15hh pure bred registered connemara, 9 years old.
Paddy has been part of the family for two years and was bought as a project. He had only ever hunted; used as the hunt masters horse 5 times.
In the time I have had him, Paddy has come on leaps and bounds and is a totally different horse. We have jumped in the school and he has shown massive showjumping potential and has the breeding to match.
He is great to school, he works on contact, has good paces and looks striking under saddle.
He lunges regularly with the Pessoa and works well on voice commands.
He hacks well both in company and alone. Although not bombproof, he is showing great potential in this area. In the past his nervousness has led to him tensing up and taking off slightly but nothing nasty. He is overcoming this and in the past couple months he has been hacking out foot perfect. Paddy does need a confident and experienced rider to continue his progress.
Being stabled on a farm means he has seen all types of farm machinery.
Exceptionally good with the farrier and is currently shod on his fronts only, amazing to load first time every time, great to clip, lovely to handle in all ways, very soft and gentle personality. Paddy is good in a herd and is currently with just geldings but has been out with a mare too with no problems.
Paddy is excelling in the show ring and has competed in a number of inhand shows where he behaved impeccably each time. He is always in the ribbons, regularly taking 1st place, along with champion and reserve supreme champion titles.
This is a heartbreaking sale but feel it is best for him to go to a home with a more experienced rider who could bring out his full potential. Due to going to university in September, I will not have the time to carry on working Paddy full time which is another reason which forces sale.
An ideal home would be someone who has an interest in eventing as I feel Paddy would excel in this area with further education.
Please only genuine enquires from experienced riders and no time wasters. Paddy will only go to the best of homes which I feel is perfect for him.
Open to vetting although passed his previous 5 stage vetting with flying colours. He does have a scar on his hind left leg which isn’t obvious and doesn’t cause any problems what so ever.
Up to date with all vaccines and dentist.
I am in no rush to see him go and will continue his education in the mean time but further education will reflect in price.

Very very proud of how far my clients horse has come . From a horse who was extremely nervous with everything , from mounting , to in the school and mainly out on the road even on the ground, he has come on leaps and bounds. He is now hacking along main busy roads and up in front, to not caring about any traffic going past ❤️❤️

Had a lovely session with my clients horse . Now this horse can be very nervous and he coped very well with the weather and thunder . Only worked on small bits of wall and trot and circles to keep his mind busy so he couldn’t be looking for things to be nervous about . This is a lovely horse who with some more confidence will turn into an amazing little boy 💜
So ted had a session of long reining , followed by a walk down the lane in hand and a little walk round a field . His owner was very much involved in the session and did majority of the work with me there as a support due to him being a little nervous and new to the process 💜
So we had a very fresh pony tonight , just worked on some walk and trotting as well as bending round the inside leg and staying calm over poles . Started of lovely and calm and then had a few explosions and then walked round buckle end .
Very nice little pony but jeez can he throw some shapes 🤣🐻🤠💜
So we have my client back up and on top and absolutely bossing it , a little confidence boost for her . Lovely hack and was nice to see her enjoy riding her horse 💜
Not only am I here to help with problem ponies but I try to involve my clients as much as possible as at the end of the day i won’t be around for ever and it’s very important that with the support and help of myself that my clients find the confidence to deal with their own horse in a safe manner 💜
Here at HJW equine I don’t just work on my own , I work very closely with other professionals .
My aim is to help the horses I ride and work with in the best way possible , however that doesn’t mean I’m best suited for them . I will always put the horses needs before my self , which In some cases can mean suggesting other professional riders and coaches , that may be more sutible for those I’m trying to help .

So I’ve been out to do some work with these two amazing little ponies , the first one likes to nap a little which we worked on and had an amazing little hack as well as working on his jumping technique and getting him to focus on what he was doing rather than the fact he was in the field on his own . The second one has recently been stopping at jumps , so we worked over poles and slowly built it up to gain her confidence and had an amazing result and a happy horse by the end of the session 🤍
So today ted had to do some lunge work , started off with some long reining then introduced the two lunges to him whilst being lunged , he was a little unsure to start with and thought something scary was chasing him but soon Settled and worked incredibly well , very promising little youngster and can’t wait to see him be produced into a wonderful little ridden pony 💜
The past week I’ve been very very busy with my clients. The 3 year old ted was sat on and lunged again and is going amazingly, he will be turned away next week to mature a little bit more before restarting his education . Then I had a little play on basil the lovely little skewbald . Basil is only 12.2 and at the grand old age of 20 he really is something special and loves his jumping . This pony helped me continue with the horses after loosing both my boys last year . Then we had a little play on dash the piebald , he is a youngster and his owner had produced him to a great standard and it was a privilege to be let loose and have a little play over some poles and some canter work 💜

So ruby was leant over last night and she stood so well , we started of with some work in the lunge pen , then walked her up the drive way and finished on her being leant over and she was amazing , soon be up on top and out competing 🤍
So today we worked on some lateral work , and can honestly say this horse aced what he was asked 🤍
