Well we're home from five days away making more great memories with Calverley Chasers Flyball Team at the British Flyball Association Outdoor Championships 2024.
We had six teams go to champs, three open and three foundation. We had three dogs for who champs was only their second competition in foundation and 8 open/ foundation dogs for who it was their first ever time at the champs.
Three of our young members ranging in age from 4 - 11 years did a great job of helping both inside and outside of the ring (including two of them eating some highly toxic berries from the hedgerow at the side of the ring, thinking they were grapes) after spending four hours at A&E with two more young members from another club they got the all clear.
One of our young members Zack came away with two golden judges choice awards & he is absolutely over the moon with these.
After many years of flyball with our club we saw four dogs flyball careers come to an end at champs.
Happy retirement Theo, Zack, Max and Ralph.
We came away with:
Foundation
2 x 1st place 🥇
1x 4th place
Open :
1x 4th place
1x 5th place
And not forgetting 1x
CHAMPIONS 🏆 🥇

I would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my customers for your continued support, one of whom has been with me for over 12 years. Some of our regular dogs have moved out of the area I cover and are much missed but we have also welcomed some new dogs who are settling into our little group walks very nicely 🐾🐾
