A friendly and reliable service putting the needs of you and your pets first. Puppy socialisation, feeding, home visits or regular dog walking. My name is Kirstie and I live with my husband, 3 children, dog Rufus, cat Charlie and tortoise Myrtle in the beautiful village of Brigstock. I have always had a passion for animals but until recently have been unable to pursue this within my working life.

I have worked in social care for many years but now felt like the right time to do more of what I love! I have many years of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes - training, walking, riding and caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoises, horses and hamsters to name but a few! If you are interested in finding out more I will come to meet you and your pet to discuss their needs and to look at how best I can support you in their care. I can offer services in Brigstock, Stanion, Weldon and surrounding areas. I am fully insured, with DBS clearance, references and am fully Covid compliant.

Just what Fridays are made for (but in reality a rare treat)! A nature reserve walk with this happy pair, where we saw herons, terns, a reed bunting and so many more beautiful birds. Rounded off with lunch in a dog-friendly pub and back in time for school pick up and the arrival of our next overnight guest. A great way to welcome the weekend! ❤️🐦🌲🌼🦋🐾

Dexter Doodle ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Of all the dogs I have worked with over the last year or so, Dexter is the one who has made the most incredible progress. He is a loveable rascal who loves playing with his friends and always throws everything he can into every new adventure. He has gone from walking on-lead alone, to long lead, to responding to recall, to joining Rufus for walks, to going out two or three times a week with other dogs, which he adores. Dexter is also the dirtiest pup who cannot see a puddle without tearing through it until he is soaked from head to paw! He is such a sociable boy who I will hugely miss but I intend to borrow when I get the chance! Keep up the good work Dexter 😘🐾

After saying goodbye this evening to these two beautiful girls it definitely feels like the end of a fabulous chapter. Coco is part of the family now so it will be really strange not having her around. She has grown so much but still tries to squeeze herself into the tiniest of beds! We will miss her so much.

Truffle loves walking my daughter to school and having lots of snuggles and definitely gives the bigger dogs a run for their money! She is such a character.

It has been an absolute privilege to be part of their puppy lives and to feel I have played a small part.

We loved our riverside walk today. There's something very calming about being beside water. The sea is my favourite but rivers and lakes come a close second! A beautiful day! ☀️🌷🐾

So, if you were a dog, what would you like to smell of? Well, apparently it's deer poo, possibly with a bit of fox poo thrown in for good measure! 💩 Without exception, every one of these rascals tried to get as much poo as possible all over them - just at the point I was thinking how clean they all were 🤣 Luckily there was a strategically placed pond so a quick dip was had by all to wash away the stench! Pippin was so embarrassed she even refused to join the group photo. I may have found the one down-side to walking at the beautiful Lyveden New Bield 🙄

I love looking back at our puppy photos. From shy puppy to confident, sociable teen! Jackson is a very handsome boy who loves his cuddles just as much now as when he was tiny!

I feel very fortunate to have been part of so many puppies lives as they have grown and developed. It is a joy to see them learn new things each and every day and to witness so many puppy adventures. ❤️🐾

This next few weeks will see a lot of last walks with some fabulous dogs who I have had the pleasure of spending time with over the last year or so. This week was the turn of the very handsome Bruce who has blossomed into a very sociable boy, who loves running around with his friends. Even though he is very much the leader of the pack, he loves a cuddle and always gives me an amazing welcome when I arrive to pick him up. Rufus idolises him – wherever Bruce goes Rufus will follow and thankfully Bruce seems pretty fond of Rufus too! One of my most memorable adventures with Bruce involved wading into a cold, murky pond to haul him out after his little explore in the woods didn't quite go as planned! Needless to say, my wellies were nowhere near high enough and I ended up very soggy (and probably a bit smelly too!). 🙄🤣 Bruce, however, was fine other than a little embarrassed!

Bruce, you are a very gorgeous boy and we will miss you!❤🐾

Glorious day for a dog walk. The sun was so warm I almost had to shed a layer! Even the breeze was warm. Just lovely! ❤️😎🐾

As you can see we have been having lots of fun keeping cool in the heat! We have been making the most of paddling pools, rivers, bowls of ice cubes, shady trees, shorter walks, hosepipes, as well as walking at cooler times of day, avoiding pavements and drinking plenty of water.
