I established Ruff Rambles in March 2017 and have provided many happy dog walks, while being reliable and flexible to requirements of my clients. I was originally based in West Sussex but relocated to Cumbria in April 2021 and am now based in Barras, Kirkby Stephen. I offer daycare from our home, with plenty of open space to explore, outside,

as well as amazing walking opportunity all around. Group or solo walks in the great outdoors, following scents, expending energy and mixing with other dogs (if you choose). Home from home boarding is also available. I take care to make sure your dog settles in and feels comfortable coming out for walks with me. Some dogs are happy to trot out as soon as the lead appears but others need a little longer to get used to someone new. An initial visit, trial walks (with or with owner) and paying attention to the tell tale body language ensure that I can help your dog feel safe, settled and ready to enjoy their walk. For daycare and boarding I take care and responsibility for your dog's daily needs and my husband, Steve, is on hand to ensure that between the two of us your dog has company for the majority of their stay with Ruff Rambles. I have successfully completed a NarpsUK (National Association of Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers) Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business Course, that included Canine & Feline First Aid so you can be confident that your dog will be well cared for when out with me. Having previously worked as a qualified childminder in my previous work, I am used the responsibility of caring for your nearest and dearest!

After an 8 week break, in order to respect COVID-19 guidelines set out by the government, I am very happy to say, I will be restarting my group walks from tomorrow.

To keep everyone safe I will adhere to the following guidelines:

• Social distancing is implemented during pick up and drop off and on the walks themselves.
• Use my own leads.
• The crates and beds I use to transport will be disinfected after each walk.
• I will not walk if I am showing symptoms.
• I won't walk dogs from homes where people are showing symptoms or are self isolating for two weeks having shown symptoms.
