Kika is due a trim, but her groomer is fully booked right now... So her owner has had to take "drastic measures" to keep the fur out of her eyes in the form of this adorable little top knot 😂😍 Kika hates when leaves and twigs get stuck to her while walking, and waits for me to fix it before carrying on. What a cutie 🐶🐾

In June I cat sat this pretty lady, Dizzy, who I've met a couple of times previously for claw clips. 😻 For the first couple of days she was friendly and playful, then she suddenly took a turn. She stopped eating or drinking, started defecating outside her litter box, and had very concentrated urine. I kept a close eye on her and tried to tempt her with wet food, but still no change, so off to the vet we went! 🚑

It turned out her a**l glands were full (a recurring issue for Dizzy), and she had a very high temperature as well as being dehydrated. The vet suspected an infection of some sort, so we were given medications to start, and I was instructed to syringe feed her food and water until her owners returned that evening. Dizzy still wouldn't eat for her owners, so they decided to hospitalise her and run more tests...

The test results didn't bring anything to light, but thankfully, Dizzy managed to make a full recovery and is now back to her normal self ❤🐈

Baxter the cocker spaniel has been amazing on his walks over the last 3 days! 🤩 Today there was a local dog show at Dartmouth Park, so we went along. Afterwards I rinsed Baxter off, brushed him to remove debris from his fur, and left him tired and happy with a full bowl of fresh water. 🥰

My own dog is picky when it comes to making friends, but she loves Baxter! So she's been coming along on his walks recently. 🐶

My claw clipping customers from the last couple of days 😊

Phillip the gorgeous British Shorthair cat had his needles trimmed for the first time back in February, so it was great to see him again. He was just as well behaved the second time around!

Amber and Ruby the senior poms have also seen me before, a few months ago. They were very good and i'm sure they will feel a little more comfortable now on their walkies 🐾🥰

Double trouble! Or actually just 1 x Trouble 😂. At the beginning of June I visited these cuties, Trouble and Eric, twice a day for 5 days. They like to go in and out of the house as they please, but swiftly return at the sound of their favourite treat packets being crinkled.

I made sure they were both fed as needed, had fresh water every day, clean litter trays, lots of cuddles, and outdoor time as desired. As usual, I also made sure the floors were hoovered, bins emptied, and wheelie bin collected while their owner was away. 🥰👍🐾🐱

What a glorious and busy bank holiday weekend I had (weekend before last). All the animals I was looking after were gorgeous!

Mabel the 16-week-old mini cockapoo got multiple 1/1.5 hour long visits from me every day for 4 days. This included feeding her throughout the day, lots of toilet trips, walks, playtime, and of course lots of cuddles. 🥰

Woody and Jessie the cats are brother and sister. They were absolutely beautiful and so friendly. Woody has an issue with weeing in the house sometimes, so I made sure to scrub the carpet as needed. I also filled up their automatic feeders every day, played with them, and kept their litter boxes squeaky clean! 🐈

And then there was the feline brothers, Sloanie and Bear. I see them multiple times every month and have done since I started my business, over a year ago! They were superstars as always, and Bearsy gives the best snuggles (complete with dribble). 😂😻

I also had a few regular dog walks thrown in too 🐶🐕🐾

An Easter throwback 🐣 Annie the guinea pig gets nail clips from me when needed, but this time I got to look after her for a few days over Easter while her family was away! She was so gorgeous, and I loved visiting her.

I made sure she had her pen swept, along with fresh fruit, veggies, hay, pellets, and water each day. Classic FM was also left on in the background for comfort, and when she squeaked at me extra loudly I knew she wanted a handful of grass from the garden 😂🥰

I welcomed some more cat clients to the crew not long ago! They contacted me just before Easter for cat sitting. 😊

Snowdrop, the gorgeous black and white girly, was adopted from Cats Protection about a year ago. She likes to follow people around the house, but isn't one for playing with toys or too much fuss. Still, she warmed up to me and was purring away throughout our visits. 🥰

Milo, the tabby and white boy, and his housemate Maple, the beautiful torbie, were looked after by yours truly while their owners were away house hunting. Milo is such a friendly, cuddly, BIG lad! 😻 Whereas Maple is shy of new people and wasn't quite sure what to make of me. 😂 Perhaps one day I will win her over. 😇

Some new clients of mine went away to Southport for a couple of days, so I got to look after these 4 beautiful babies! Meet Molly, Minnie, Meg, and Timmy.

Their personalities, backgrounds, and feeding habits are all rather different, so I made sure to be thorough with my care guide at their meet and greet. Their owners also, helpfully, left me feeding instructions to follow too, just in case. We had a blast! ❤🐱🐱🐱🐱❤

I've been so busy lately now that spring is here and my clients have started going on holiday. 😁 Summer will be hectic I'm sure!

Recently I visited one of my favourite cats, Brian, for 5 days each morning while his owner was away. It was originally just for 3 days, but she needed to change her flight home, so of course I covered the additional 2 days for her.

Poor Brian was vomiting on the first morning, so I added an extra visit the same afternoon to go back and make sure he was okay. Thankfully, no vet trip was needed, and he was totally fine after! It was just a bad morning for the fluffy boy. 🐱💚

Cookie had a couple of visits from me the other weekend when her pawrents went away for the night 🐱 She was a good egg, just like the last time I pet sat for her. Always so silly and affectionate 😆❤

Lovely Des got an hour-long walk with me, my partner, and our 2 dogs at Dartmouth Park 😊 He is always such a joy to walk as he is so gentle, calm, and just wants to greet everyone with a waggy tail 💙

On Monday I had my first walk with this cheeky girl, Winnie! 😍 She's a poodle x schnauzer (her owner's think) and she's such a little bundle of love and joy. I'll be walking her most weeks from now on, and am really looking forward to seeing this sweet face again. Just look at her! 😭❤
