🥵🌞😎Hot weather planning 🥵🌞😎
Hello all,
We are now fast approaching the summer months and this week temperatures are forecast to reach 30 degrees by the end of the week. Therefore, I would like to make you all aware of my extreme weather policy, on walking your lovely dogs in the heat.
Water is available at all times, it’s carried with me as well fresh bowls of water in every crate.
If Temperatures exceed 23 degrees all dogs will be walked in shaded and grassed areas only, and where possible in woodland to keep them cool.
These walks may also mean that dogs remain on lead in order to prevent over exertion in the heat.
For super hot days that exceed 25 degrees and above, I may potentially need to cancel walks however will of course replace them with home visits for toilet breaks and enrichment activities in your garden if you’re happy for me to do so.
Please note, I may need to alter times to early / later in the day in order to walk all my clients dogs before temperatures spike in the hottest part of the day.
Please chat to me with any concerns and I’ll of course keep you posted on the day too with my plans.
Many thanks,
Jo 🐶
