I support PACT's ethics and ethos and have signed up to their code of conduct which stipulates the use of non-aversive, ethical and effective methods only.

Always a pleasure to chat to people about the role of the ABTC and how they can support the veterinary community!

So proud and excited to have shared my MSc Thesis research yesterday at the British Veterinary Behaviour Association - BVBA Study Day. It was incredible to speak to so many people about this work and start to see its implications for the real world.

Thank you to Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians and the rest of the BVBA team for your support throughout the day!

A heart breaking goodbye after 7.5 years of Lennie.

Many people will say they had one dog that changed everything for them. Lennie was that dog for me.

Lennie has taught me what it is like to take a rescue dog home and show them their new world, what it is like to own a dog who struggles with other dogs, what it is like to own a dog who cannot be left alone, what it is like to own a dog who struggles at the vets, what it is like to live with a dog who needs pain management, what it is like to live with a dog who needs behavioural medication and what it is like to live with a dog as they age.

What Lennie has really taught me though is to listen to what dogs say, to be patient and to cherish every moment we get with them (even when those moments can be difficult).

Lennie was a ‘failed’ foster and one of the best decisions I ever convinced my Mum to make. I am so grateful I got to experience this year in Lincoln with him and having him with me for my MSc.

My time with Lennie has made me a better behaviourist and trainer, and I know a little part of him will always guide me when working with clients and their pets. 💜

Thank you so much to our lovely friend Milly Jones (MJ Animal Training and Behaviour) for capturing these beautiful memories of a very special trip to the beach recently.

Very pleased to share that I have submitted my thesis and completed my MSc! All with Lennie by my side. 💚🐶

Had such a great day today at Crufts! It was great to see so much emphasis on the importance of positive reinforcement, the human-dog bond and high welfare standards within training. 💚

I also had the opportunity to meet the PACT team who I will be studying with soon to become a registered Animal Training Instructor! 🐾

Percy the Pug 🐾

Percy was struggling to relax whilst his owner worked from home. We looked at helping him learn to settle and introducing more brain games into his life. He picked everything up really quickly, clever boy!
