Hi everybody.
Just a policy update-

Cancellations - please give ar least 48 hours notice to cancel to avoid a charge of 50% of the booking.
Any cancellations on the day of appointment will be required to pay 100% outstanding fee of booking.

Failure to pay the outstanding balance may result in no future bookings. If there is a issue in regards to paying the fee please contact me direct and we can try to resolve the issue.

Changes to booking- please at least 48 hours notice to change/amend booking date/time. A £10 charge will be added to your future booking for any appointments amended within 48 hours.

Deposits will be required for ALL bookings from monday 18th November - 23rd December. This will come off the price of the booking. These are non transferable/non refunable. Changes to booking/new bookings will be required to pay a new deposit.
Failure to pay deposits will result in booking being cancelled.

I would like to remind all clients new and old.

I fully understand it’s the 6 weeks holidays and people have days out planned and holidays.

I will try and work around everyone the best I can. But under NO circumstances is it acceptable to cancel or try and change your booking last minute on me.
This is my job. My lively hood! And this is my only income. I have children in my life who I also want to spend my time with and to this I am considerate of things I have booked/planned etc.

All I ask is the same of you.

Please if you need to swap and change give me a 48 hours notice or you will be liable to pay 50% of the of the service fee. Failure to pay will result In no further bookings with myself. I do not have the time to chase around after clients who are not paying or are swapping and changing continuously.

Not sure what happened with this lass! 🤦‍♀️
Previous groomer went far too short and chip chopped and was asked to stop the groom by the client.

But I’ve tried to blend all bumps and short hair the best I can!

Pip was such a good girl and lots of kisses and cuddles today 🥰🥰 hopefully her hair grows out nice and we can get a nice baseline on her 😍

Barney was my first actually paying customer near two years ago! And we’ve come along so very well over our time 🙂. He’s such a little delight and a funny little boy! He’s a pleasure to work with 🥰🥰 and I will continue to love doing his grooms with him 🙂. Even is he is finicky with his paws and legs 🙂

I am going to complete the race for life 5k muddy run!
If anyone who knows me knows that the situation with cancer runs close to my heart!.

Unfortunately both my nans are currently fighting and battling cancer each day in their own way!

My nanna Pauline sadly has come out of remission a few months back and her cancer has become very progressive and aggressive. Some days it kicks her arse! Some days she’s great! But each day she fights to see the next!!!

My nanna Kathleen! She is another superstar!! Completed her chemo and is off on her own journey! Kicking cancers but!!

So hats off to the women in my life absolutely smashing it!!! And showing me strength.

So if anyone could please be kind enough to help hit my target it’ Would be greatly appreciated!

I am wanting to raise money for cancer research to help support people fighting with and who have lost lives to cancer. I have 2 people very dear to me who are currently fighting the war with cancer. My nanna Pauline is fighting every single day with soft pallet cancer and is sadly unable to complet...

Unfortunately I do have to muzzle this lady! She is a biter but we only muzzle for clipping the body and legs:) she’s good being bathed and around her face and head 🙂. But she’s not the biggest fan of being groomed but we get there with her

I’m looking for 5 doggos who are interested in getting their teeth cleaned?

I’ve been qualified to complete Emmi pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning for over a year but just havnt got around to doing any thing with it and I’m looking at restarting this service back up.

So I need 5 helpers who can help me build a port folio up with before and afters to help promote my business?

It will be at a discounted rate -

I will be offering this for £20.00 for the first 5 people who are looking to help build my business and all I ask is i am allowed to share your dogs teeth photos and a little feed back of how you think the service went.

Original price of this is £40 which includes, dental health check, tooth brush (reusable which the client is to keep and we can use for each service) (worth £10) consultation, and 45-60 minute deep clean

Maintenance price - £20 includes 30 minute ultrasonic clean this price is only for after you have your first service.


Ultra sonic teeth cleaning is low sonic waves helping break down tarter and plaque on the dogs teeth that is difficult even for brushing alone. This will help prevent oral diseases such as gingivitis, periodontitis and even teeth falling out. It will also reduce any vet bills for oral dental work such as polishing.

Note- this service it not to be performed if the animal has injury to mouth or has known oral conditions. It does not replace oral work a vet may need to perform if required but more as a preventative measure and maintenance.

‼️ this is not a shame post more awareness and advice ‼️

I can not express the importance of keeping up with appointments and ensuring clients are doing their bit at home such as brushing their dogs.

This lovely dog is a good customer of mine but due to circumstances appointments have been missed/ rescheduled and what nots which has left her in a heavily matted state.

This is something I don’t like doing is shaving the dog right now but where needed I had too. Had to take a lot off her face, take her coat down to a 1.5mm -3-2mm which is short for her.

We have started a fresh and the client a
Has agreed to keep on top of brushing and maintaining appoinments.

But please do not allow your dogs to get matted. Book an appointment. I will always try my best to accommodate your needs in the best interest of the dog.

But this is Bella!! She is such a good girl. She’s such a little sweetie pie. She looks so sharp and fresh today after her cut. And I will see her in a few weeks for maintenance !

Near 3 hours down with this lad today:(
After a lovely few days camping this little mister come home with a few friends (ticks) which he was the bestest boy letting me remove them!

Little teddy here we have had some growth with! When I first started doing him he was very agressive and snappy, caught me a few times. With perseverance we have got to a point he no longer wants to bite my hands off or attack me yet, he’s just a bit Pully with his legs and feet. The change in this boy is crazy!! Today we’ve had hugs, kisses, snuggles, paw holding you name it!! He’s not my greatest groom but he’s the best groom for his temperament!

We’ve come so far teddy boy! And yet so far to go!! 😍 he is a sweet guy deep down! 😍

I’m looking at completing a course for hand stripping.

Hand stripping is a technique used for wire coats such as terriers and some spaniels,
For EG-
Cockerspaniels
Irish wolf hounds
Fox terriers,
Boarder terriers etc..

Hand stripping removes excess dead coat by hand from the root and promotes a healthy brighter coat to grow, this does not hurt the dog and its is more beneficial for wire haired dogs as clipping can damage the coat and prevent it from growing properly.

Hi everyone! Just a little reminder to anyone who doesn’t know already. I will be finishing work on 22nd May for 2 weeks to spend some quality time with my family so I won’t be active taking bookings until I get back. I have very limited availability over the next 2 weeks and I am trying to squeeze everyone in where I can.

I ask of people are struggling to keep their appointments you must give me at least 2 days notice to cancel or change the day as I have a lot of people asking for appointments this week and next.

I appreciate every one of my clients and like to thank everyone for choosing me.

I will respond to all booking enquires when I get back to work on 3rd June. If it’s urgent I will respond as fast as possible but I can not promise you will receive an answer within 24hr of sending your message.

Hi everyone - happy mother’s day!!

Just a reminder. As per my cancellation policy. I do have to enforce this as I am having clients cancel last minute on me.

It’s not always down to me to remind people when their apps are. I send out reminders as a help. A lot of doctors/dentist/hair/nail etc. don’t send out these and if they do they send them out on the day. I try and make sure they are sent out 2 days before sometimes I send them out first thing the day before (I am human) but I do also expect some acceptance on my clients side to remember or put it in your calender. I don’t have automated services to remind people.

But I try my best.

Cancellation policy.

Just a little introduction to anyone who doesn’t know me or about me.

I often get asked how long I’ve been grooming for and do I enjoy my job!

So let talk!

Hi my name is Sian Michelle Byrne
I started my journey 2.5 years ago!

I am a professional dog groomer who is fully qualified and trained in St Helens college.
How I got into dog grooming. I loved my previous job working with people with learning difficulties and autism I managed supported living properties and loved my job but things went west when I fell pregnant with my little boy. I realised I wanted flexibility, not to be working every hour god sent (some days I worked over the hour and never had a break,) I wanted as much time with my lad and to watch him grow up which I couldnt if I stayed in the job I was in.

I also needed something that wasn’t massively going to affect my health as I have health issues that massively affect my mobilty on a daily basis. There’s a lot more to it but…

Anyway! Fast forward I enrolled to St Helens college when I was 6months pregnant to start the course 3 weeks after my son was born! I studied hard and completed level 1 then jumped into my level 2 and first aid! This took me a few months to do but I went during the evenings to ensure I completed my course! During me doing all this I also started working for a lovely little company cleaning who was absolutely fantastic with me around college and working and building my client base.

Once I finished the course I looked to work in salons and it just wasn’t what I expected. I wasn’t a fan and realised I wanted to go mobile!
I preferred 1-1 stuff as I get to know your dogs better!
I couldn’t/can’t afford a van so decided to get my self all my tools I needed to be set up and packed my car and went on my mission!
That was near 2 years ago!

Now I have a lovely loyal client base who are amazing and I love coming out to each of you!
Obviously I’ve had ups and downs when I started as I was fresh out of college and wanting customers. Getting dropped last minute. People not answering doors. And people lying about the dogs conditions. But with lots of trail and error I find myself here today.

So that’s me! I want to say thank you for all my clients support. I still have lots to learn and am grateful to everyone who has booked with me and everyone who has stayed with me over the 2 years and watched my growth! So thank you everyone for making this possible and helping me get where I am today! 😘

Ladies and gents- just a little update. My back went a little funny on Friday and I ended up in the walk in to be told I’ve got a slipped disc at the top of my back. I am a lot better than I was on Friday but still having a lot of pain which is triggering my fibro pretty bad. So I am just asking all my clients to bear with me while I’m on the mend. I may be slower than normal and I may be late to appointments due to me needing to take additional time to take things easy. I am not cancelling appointments UNLESS it’s necessary. I will give clients a call if I do need to cancel and I will provide the next available date.

I’m not taking any further bookings as of now as I can’t put any more strain on my body.
