The Easy K9 App

UPDATE: Easy K9 went LIVE this time last year. 1 year ago already!! 😅 we have gained 221 active members, 281 dogs are now registered, 9 countries are using the app and 1232 continuation reports have been filed.

I would like to thank you ‘the users’ for giving it a chance. There’s still so much more to come with it! Very exciting phase being added in the upcoming months.

NEW FEATURE DEMO!! updated on the Easy K9 App. Self approved training reports are now available.

Note: if you’re an android owner and having difficulty in logging in to the app, then please update the new version as some devices don’t automatically do this. If it’s stating you don’t need an update and still refusing to load then just reinstall and it will work fine.

UPDATE: New feature released.
If you are using a handler profile then you are now able to complete your own training records.
Once you have saved the training report it will show up as a blue tick to show it has been self approved by yourself.

You will need to update the app from the App Store to version 1.6

ABOUT EASY K9:

Easy K9 is an App that has been designed for security and detection dog handlers and dog trainers by those working in the industry. The App has several features available to choose from.

-Create a handler profile.
(Upload a CV , insurance policy, dog qualifications, SIA, other documents

Create a trainer profile (trainers only)
(Website, contact details, Location of business, credentials you’re qualified to teach e.g EDD, GP etc. insurance, other documents

-Create multiple dog profiles
(Breed, DOB, team certification, Photo, insurance, microchip numbers, medical record. Training records will also be stored in each individual profile once submitted by your trainer.

-Send your personal profile or or a dog profile as one to any potential employers via email. (PDF) This will include dog details, team certification etc

-Search for a trainer using the trainers list.
All trainers that have registered on the App will automatically appear in the search bar making it easier for handlers to locate them. The Trainers profile will appear with basic information e.g location, contact details and credentials.
The handler can give access of their profile to that trainer if they wish to train with them, Selecting the dog they intend to train with. The handler can stop giving access at any time. If you have granted a trainer access then he can now submit training records to the dog(s) you have selected.

-Handlers can either accept or reject once they receive a training record by the trainer. All records are kept in each individual profile of the dog.

-Sending individual training reports to employers. Handlers can select a training record and send using email option appearing in PDF format.

- It also has the option to complete operational task reports. Keep a healthy audit system of how much the dog teams are being used throughout their shift.
This can also be send in PDF format to an employer.

-Schedule, upload work and training days.

Plenty more features are to be released in phase 2.

-Handlers will be able to write their own training records but can not be approved by a trainer.

-Dog related shop, equipment, supplies etc all members can buy and sell.

-Push notifications,
reminders for upcoming expiration on insurance policies, SIA, dog vaccines, annual certifications etc

Away in the big capital today and tomorrow finalising the final stage before Phase 1 of The ‘Easy K9’ App goes live!
Also, preparing final development/design of phase 2 which will be released in late summer 2023 (fingers crossed) !! It’s all go go go!!
