I got a lovely pawtrait of the big shaggy Teddy today in the winter sun today! 🥰🐶 We've had a bit of interest in some of the photos we send our clients in their pupdates so I wondered if there was any desire for a pet pawtrait service where if we send you a photo you really like we'll get it printed all nice and fancy for you? 📷🖼️

That's us insured for another year to keep us up to date for the safety of your pets and the team! ⭐️

📌We are insured to walk up to 6 dogs per person but we reduce this to 4 for safety and may reduce this further depending on the size and behaviour of the dogs, and may instead provide 2 walkers at an additional cost to fulfil your needs to walk multiple dogs together.

Always better to be safe than sorry! 🐶🐶🐶🐶

Happy New Year! ⭐ Hope you all managed to have some sort of break over Christmas. I know we were definitely ready for our break, and now we're back bright eyed and bushy tailed for 2024! During our break, Houston and Yuri found a shipwreck graveyard!

Twas the last walk before Christmas and all through the house,
Dog hairs were floating on clothes and in mouths,
The walkers arose for one final time,
To tread many footprints with 4 paws in line,
Then with a flash they caught with their eyes,
A jolly red sleigh flying through the skies,
A great bearded man in a silken red coat,
Ho-Ho-Ho'd merrily from his nine reindeer tow,
Dropping down presents he bellowed with such might,
"Now to all a Merry Christmas and to all a good night!" 🎄🎅

That's it, we're all done for 2023, the walking boots are off and the feet are up! Thank you for your support for another year of Floofs & Hoofs! We wish you all a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone again in 2024! ⭐️🌟⭐️

It's that noisy time of year again that so many of us dread. 🎇 Bonfire Night is tomorrow and many firework events are coming up. 🎆 For those local to Louth wanting to prep their dogs, the Deighton Close fireworks are tonight (Sat) and the fireworks show at the Cattle Market is on Tue 7th.
If any of our clients need to update us on anything we need to do for your pets this coming week please let us know so we can keep them as happy as possible! 🐶❤️

Happy Birthday to us! 🐶🐾 Floofs & Hoofs is 2 today! 🎉🎂 What a busy year it's been! We've grown to a 4 handler team, met so many new pets, and somehow had time to have a little spooky photoshoot! Aren't they just the cutest ghosts and ghouls! 👻

How time flies! Yuri has been with us for a month already! 🐶 She's come on so much in just a few weeks 😁 There's still a lot we need to work on, but for now here's a little celebratory post of her learning "paw" as well as a few other tricks to hide up her sleeves! 🐾

A few silly fun tricks may sound meaningless but this is coming from not even being able to approach or touch her without having some really high value food in our hand and even then she might have cowered away, so for her to be confident enough to play and give us her paw she has made it across some huge stepping stones! 🥰 And onwards across many more we go! 💪⭐

We have accumulated a few too many dog bits and pieces so I've got these going FREE for anyone who needs some extra equipment. 🐕 Harnesses fit approx labrador sized dogs.

🎄🎅 We will be closed for Christmas week this year: 23/12/23 - 01/01/24 inclusive. 🎅🎄

We have had an incredibly busy year for 2023 and I thank all our clients for keeping us so busy and my team for their continuous hard work. I have decided to close Floofs & Hoofs for Christmas this year to give the whole team a well deserved break so we can all recuperate and see you all again bright eyed and bushy tailed in the new year!

It may still seem a long way off but I wanted to notify everyone sooner rather than later. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, I hope you can all understand the need for the team to have a full rest. ❤️

It's that time of year! No Rory I don't mean Halloween 👻 It's the season of wind and rain and mucky walks 🍂 Please remember to leave out a dog towel so we can give your dogs a rub down after walks and let us know if your dogs have coats and where we can find them 🐕
In this job we can't be fair weather walkers but we are constantly assessing each walk and the weather and how your dogs are coping and if we feel they've had enough we'll not force them to stay out as no one enjoys being sad and soggy for the sake of it! 🌧️

"Yuri, everything the light touches, we can p*e on" ⛰️
The astro pups did us proud yesterday and made it all the way to the top of Scafell Pike! I think they'd have preferred to go a lot faster than the unfit humans they were attached to! These quadruped digitigrades don't know how good they've got it! 🐕🚶🏼‍♀️🐕🚶🏼
They certainly enjoyed the fresh mountain streams and our favourite moment was when Houston was convinced a boulder was a sheep and kept staring at it... While an actual sheep stood less than 20m away from it... 🐑😂

Well what an incredible day! ⭐ We took the plunge and did a shark dive in this very tank at Skegness Aquarium Skegness Dive & Snorkelling Centre 🦈🐠🐟 One of my biggest fears is deep water so this was a major step for me, but other than some nerves over breathing through the mask this was absolutely amazing! The dive team made us feel so safe! 👌 We felt like little kids just trying to look everywhere at once watching all the fish around us! 🐟🐠 We've got a video of the dive in the making, keep an eye out, we'll post it when we receive it! 🦈🫧

We may have got absolutely soaked in a rainstorm but it was so worth it to have the whole beach to ourselves and watch this pair have so much fun and to see Yuri pick up on how to play fetch! A month ago she was afraid to even attempt to chase the ball, now look at her! 😁❤️🐶

⚠️A weather warning for our local Ludvian dog owners!⚠️ Please don't let your dogs off lead by any rivers during this storm! 🌧️🌊 The sheer amount of rain has made the canal and the Lud burst their banks and the water is going at quite the speed so please keep your dogs safe and on lead so they don't get swept away! 🐕❤️

He did it!!! Houston swam!! 😁🐶💦 Houston had his first swim today at Splash Doggy! He was quite unsure of what to do at first but he soon put his brave pants on and figured out what to do with Ed and I there to help and encourage him! 😁 Look at that massive jump! 👀💦

Our Sophie has taken Mabel to try out the dog swimming pool at Splash Doggy in Grantham today! 🐶🫧 Look how much fun they've had! We're certainly sold and have booked Houston in for a swimming lesson at the end of the month! 😁

We couldn't deny our biggest water loving floof the chance at a swim today with the heat! Archer certainly enjoyed his cooling dip while Spirit had a paddle to cool her toes 😁💦🫧

Turks and Caicos are very curious and friendly birds! 🥰

Has Rory finally been thwarted by a stick too long for him?! Lizzie gave him a hand to get it through the S gate on his walk so he could carry on his mission to collect them all and complete his Pokédex of sticks!

We hope you've had a great summer bank holiday and the rain didn't dampen your plans too much! ☀️ Houston proved his, ermm, "skills" in digging on the beach this evening. Let's give him 10/10 for enthusiasm! 🤣

Rory was shocked that someone would tie up a perfectly good stick so he couldn't take it home! He gave it a good go to undo the sacrificial act but sadly he ended up having to leave this poor stick behind.

Look at this cute little guy enjoying some dandelion leaves 🐹 It's not often we get bookings for pets other than dogs, but it's nice when we do! 😁

No added music just to appreciate how quiet this walking route was today with Poppy and Shadow! Absolute bliss walking with a pair of chill dogs in the countryside with no traffic noise! 🥰🌿🐶

If your dog loves a good romp through the long grass fields it's a good idea to check them over for grass seeds when you get home. 🌾 Your hot spots for the pesky blighters to stick in are the nose, eyes, ears, between the toes and possibly their chest and sides where they've brushed through it. Thanks Archer for being our demo dog 😁🐶❤️

What a lovely little serendipitous moment today! 🦔 A hedgehog was walking down a road so a guy got out his van to stop it walking further towards the main road while I got out a blanket to move it into a hedge. I gave it some water by pouring it on the leaves and it licked it up 🥰 It completely ignored the water bowl, as you would as a wild animal. What is a water bowl? 😅 Hope you stay safe little guy! 🦔

Got a bit of a different client this cool morning. Look how cute these ducklings are! 🦆🐥 What a way to start the day, feeding these feathery floofs! 🥰

Animals are never too far away on our holiday. We went to the Natural History Museum of Berlin today and met the amazing Brachiosaurus fossil! 🦕 The world's tallest mounted fossil! 🦕
