As well as educating people to look after their animals we also rescue abandoned cats to rehome them to a more suitable environment, where they will be cared for and loved, for the rest of their lives. However we only have a limited amount of accommodation, so we cannot take in all the time until we have rehomed others. This is why we are desperate for homes. The more we rehome the more we can help others. We are not a sanctuary.

This dog's name was Gunner. My uncle brought him back from WW2. He was raised and slept under my uncle's anti- aircraft gun. The gun crew shared their
rations to feed him. By the time he was 18 months old, my uncle said he would stand up and look at the sky. If he laid back down they knew all was ok. If he growled
and put his hackles up they got at the ready. He knew the sound of the German aircraft and my uncle said he
never got it wrong. He said Gunner was better than any early warning system. I'm probably the only one left in the family that knows that story now, so I thought I'd tell it before it's lost forever, like many stories must be from that time. Thanks for reading it.

This was a cat we rehomed last year, always up to mischief

Breakfast for the garden cats!!

All the joys of dealing with cats. This one did not appreciate any help. Bruised and swollen still, but bled a lot so no infection!!!

Who would think these were once feral cats. None of them related but have a lovely bond with one another. I call them my garden cats, no one else wanted them as they were too nervous. They have their own room in the top of the garage.
