Thank you to everyone who took part in our Christmas Raffle to help support patients at the Rehabilitation centre at Mexborough Montague Hospital 🙂 A total of 28 workbooks have been purchased 🤩 these books help to stimulate a patients brain, relearning how to write, Aphasia (relearning how to speak) memory and coordination. We also purchased a wide variety of games, puzzles and pictures to colour and paint, 🙂 all this equipment will help support patients on their recovery journey. Thank you once again, the staff on the ward give their biggest thanks ❤️

Well that's us done now till the 29th 🙂 here's a few of our doggy clients that have popped in for a christmas pamper 😃 apologies for not being able to get all your dogs posted, but we simply haven't had the time 😔 we have been so busy 🐶 plus some pooches are very camera shy 😆 they know exactly when to look away as their picture is being taken 🫣😂

Bonfire Night seems to be more of a "Bonfire Weekend" so here's some handy tips to help keep your dog feeling safe and settled over the weekend. Also Classic FM are doing a special radio programme to help animals cope with firework noise 🙂🐶🎇🎆

So on the run-up to Christmas, we always do something to help out a charity, but this year we're doing a raffle to help raise money for the rehabilitation centre at Montagu Hospital. Michelle's mum sadly had a stroke back in April and she came to Montagu after her treatment for rehabilitation. Whilst she was there, we bought her a couple of stroke recovery workbooks to help her with her recovery, she did really well with these, and they helped alot, so after a discussion with staff on the unit, they told us that these workbooks would help many other patients, so we're trying to raise as much money as possible for us to buy as many of these specialist books as we can, as well as other activity equipment the patients will benefit from. £1 a strip to be in with a chance to win this wonderful collection of goodies 🤩 We'll draw out the lucky winner just before Christmas. A lovely pooch called Trigger came in today for a very much needed dematting ✂️ he's looking and feeling much better 🤩🐶🐕
❌Our most challenging doggy client to date❌ introducing Cassie to you all. On her 1st visit to us, we had problems from the start, the aggression was so bad that she ended up falling onto the floor and staff were bitten 😭 grooming session aborted and luckily no injuries to Cassie 🙏 She was so nervous and she needed time to gain our trust, so after a discussion with dad, we agreed that he would fetch her on a regular basis, just to simply walk around the groomers for an hour or so, then go home....As the weeks went on, she became more settled and we were slowly gaining her trust. She eventually allowed us to hold her, (whilst on our knees for safety) brush her and use scissors on her paws. Fast forward to now and here she is 😀 having a full groom, loves her cuddles, had her 1st bath that didn't require 2 staff 🏆 and looks lovely 🤩 she loves to chill out in the staff room afterwards for a rest and a treat 🥰 (usually one of our fish fingers) 😆
Rocky the rescue dog 🤩 came in today for his 1st groom. A lovely family are now giving him a life that he deserves. He was a superstar 💯⭐️, See you soon Rocky 🤩

A lovely customer asked us if we would kindly share a picture of her dog (Mollie) that she recently rescued from Romania, subjected to cruelty and fed only twice a week, here you can see she is a much happier dog now 🥰 and she loved her 1st visit with us. See you soon Mollie 😊
As a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we will be closed on Monday 19th September for her state funeral.
We are extremely saddened by the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.
