We are simply delighted with Carole Hawthorne's talented 7yo TULLYBEE LOUIE who flew around his first CCI3-S with ease at Aston Le Walls international event this week 💪💪
He performed a solid dressage test to score 33.7 in a competitive class, followed by a good round of SJ incurring just 4 faults and a super clear round XC 🤗
This horse has the most amazing brain and temperament to do his job 🥰
Huge thanks to Carole for her unwavering support 🙏 and to our friend Karen Gray who stepped in as groom extroadinare on cross country day!

Carole Hawthorne's talented 7yo TULLYBEE LOUIE finished in 6th place in the EI115 DAFM 7yo class starting off with a smart dressage test, 1 pole SJ & a super clear round XC 💪
Carole's TULLYBEE RENEGADE jumped two nice clear rounds in the SJ & XC to finish 🥉 in the EI115 class 🙌

MAGIC MOLLY LEADS THE WAY

It has been a long road to recovery for 24-year-old Molly Evans; a broken pelvis that led to sepsis and anaphylactic shock, leaving her in intensive care and then two years away from the sport

Strutting down the centre line today, you wouldn't have known how much Molly has overcome at such a young age

Piloting Wellan Graffiti through a stellar dressage test, Molly has put the pair into contention, taking the lead in the CCIU254*-L with a score of 33.1

Our special baby pony all grown up at his first ever show yesterday 🥹 He competed in the RDS 4yo YES qualifier at Tullylish, taking it all in his stride 🤗
He is by Lucaraelli out of Walkabout by Jaywalker. His dam is owned by who kindly let us lease her mare after we lost our foal in Spring 2020
Looking forward to seeing him continue to shine ✨️

A week on from the tragic loss of Georgie Campbell, we are getting around to posting our photos from last weekend.
On Saturday 26th May, Jamie and his East Down pony club team mates were competing at the PCUK Area 17 mounted games where they finished 4th 💪 in their competition and also won the tack & turnout prize 🥇
Then on the Sunday Jim competed 2 of Carole Hawthorne's horses at Hazeldene EI event. It was nice to catch up with friends on the day, thanks to Samantha & Keith for the lovely picnic 🤗
Carole's 7yo TULLYBEE LOUIE completed his second ever EI115 with a convincing double clear SJ & XC to place 🥈in his class 🙌
TULLYBEE RENEGADE also jumped lovely clear rounds in the SJ & XC in the EI110 OPEN class to finish 4th 🏅 A frustrating technical 20pens hampered his score on paper but doesn't take away from his clear jumping efforts 💪
A massive thank you to the Napier family, Dora & team for putting on this event with a few days notice 🙏🙏
We continue to keep the Campbell & Strang families firmly in our thoughts 💜🤍🕊

A good start to our 2024 eventing season on Saturday at the incredibly iconic venue that is Tyrella House!
Carole Hawthorne's talented 7yo TULLYBEE LOUIE contested his first EI115 class, starting off with a respectable dressage test and following up with solid clear rounds on the XC & SJ courses to place 4th 🏅💪 He is proving to be a great athlete 🙌
Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE RENEGADE competed in the EI110 OPEN class starting off with an impressive dressage score of 29.7, clear inside the time XC and an unlucky 4 faults at the last fence in the SJ but still finished in 4th place 🤗🏅
Despite the wet weather, it was an enjoyable day with friends & family! A special thanks to Samantha & Keith for the delicious picnic 😋
Huge thanks to the Corbett family, Dora, the Eventing Ireland NR team and all the volunteers for a fantastic event 🙌

This month we had to say a sad farewell to this gentle soul, Dunrath Wellington (Welly) 💔
He was bought by Carole Hawthorne in spring 2017 and went on to compete at 3* & 4* level with Jim. He had the biggest heart and tried so hard to be the best he could be 🤗
He was produced up to 3* by his previous owners Robbie Collins & Victoria Brown.
A couple of years ago he was diagnosed with Cushings disease. Carole did absolutely everything she could for him and gave him the best retirement. He was happy and well in himself but sadly he was struck with another injury and was in a lot of pain.
He was the kindest soul, so noble and so gentle with everyone. He was loved by our family and friends.
We will miss him 🥲
Rest in peace dear Welly 🧡🧡

Reflecting on a super end to our eventing season with Carole Hawthorne's 2 lovely horses at Ballindenisk 💫
Carole's talented 6yo TULLYBEE LOUIE put in a stellar performance in the CCI2-L class gaining an important MER for 2024 💪 He did some impressive flying changes in his dressage test which hampered his score 🙈 But he certainly made up for it with a confident clear inside the time XC in very wet conditions and followed up with just 4 faults in his SJ round. He only started eventing properly this season so we are delighted with how far he has progressed 🙌 ❤
TULLYBEE RENEGADE did a lovely dressage test in the CCI2-S class and jumped a super clear round SJ lying well up in the placings but sadly with the rainfall that followed we decided not to run him XC as he prefers firmer ground. Looking forward to the 2024 season with both of these boys 🤩🤩

🌟🌟 This week at international will mark the eventing retirement run of our beloved MAGENNIS 💙 He goes in the CCI2-S with Emma for his last gallop around the turf 🏇
He did his first ever event at as a 4yo in 2006 and has had plenty of success there over his long career 🤗🌟🌟
Although it's a bittersweet finale to his eventing career, it's in his best interest to retire from the sport sound & well in himself 🙏
What a horse he has been for us, Carole, our families and loyal friends who have travelled all over Ireland, UK & Europe to support him over the years ❤

A SUPER enjoyable week at the FABULOUS Cornbury House Horse Trials
Well worth the long trip over! What an incredible venue with top class facilities and courses 🙌 🔝
An amazing spectacle, competing with the best event riders in the world 🤗
Our own & Faith Ponsonby's KILCOOLEY MICHAEL put in 3 solid phases in the CCI3-S class in some seriously hot company 🔥 He jumped one of very few clear rounds in the SJ ⭐ We are absolutely chuffed to bits with him 🧡
Next up Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE RENEGADE competed in the CCI2-S class. He did a reasonable dressage test, followed by a super clear round XC and just an unlucky tip of the last fence SJ 💙 After his horrendous fall at his last international over a month ago, he confidently jumped around the strongest track he has had this season 💪
And lastly, Carole Hawthorne's talented 6yo TULLYBEE LOUIE completed the CCI2-S 6YO Championships! He did a lovely dressage test and made light work of a very decent XC track and pulled out this morning floating through the trot up and jumping his heart out in the SJ with an unlucky 1 pole down 💚 What an experience for him to compete against the best 6 year olds in England 💪

MIKEY P jumped super rounds in the 1.20m & 1.30m classes placing 4th & 6th respectively 💪 🧡
Carole Hawthorne's 6yo TULLYBEE LOUIE popped around his first 1.20m class with ease and also placed 5th in the 1.10m 💙
TULLYBEE RENEGADE jumped solid rounds in the 1m & 1.10m 🙌

Weekend round up from Kilguilkey House international event where we had 3 horses competing in the CCI2-S class!
Carole Hawthorne's talented 6yo TULLYBEE LOUIE did a nice dressage test scoring 34.1, an unlucky 2 poles SJ around a testing track, and finished with a super clear round XC yesterday 💪💪
Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE RENEGADE did a lovely dressage test but felt he was harshly marked for his work. He then fell victim to the testing SJ track with a horrendous fall. He is very bruised & sore so we will work on getting him better over the coming weeks 🙏
Our own and Faith Ponsonby's KILCOOLEY MICHAEL did a smooth dressage test to score 34.7, he incurred uncharacteristic faults in the SJ through no fault of his own but finished with a solid clear XC round yesterday 🧡

Busy day at Ballindenisk on Sunday where we had 4 horses competing!
Our own & Carole Hawthorne's MAGENNIS put in a super double clear finishing on his dressage score to place 🥉 in the EI110 OPEN class 💪❤
Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE RENEGADE also jumped well in the EI110 OPEN class ready for Kilguilkey international next week 🙌
Our own & Faith Ponsonby's KILCOOLEY MICHAEL jumped well in the EI110 OPEN despite incurring an annoying 20 penalties XC!
And in the EI HSI 6yo class Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE LOUIE did a smart dressage test, followed by 2 good jumping rounds to place in the top 10 🌟

We had a great day back out eventing at the Cullen Equine Solutions family's new venue The Clare on Saturday where we had 3 horses competing!
Our own & Faith Ponsonby's KILCOOLEY MICHAEL jumped a good dc to place 4th in the EI110 OPEN class 🧡
Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE RENEGADE also jumped a lovely dc to finish in 5th in the EI110 OPEN class 💪
Carole Hawthorne's talented 6yo TULLYBEE LOUIE popped around the EI110 XC with maturity beyond his years to complete his fifth ever event 🌟🌟

A glorious week down in Millstreet International Horse Trials where we had three horses competing against some of the best in the world!
Carole Hawthorne's TULLYBEE RENEGADE & 6yo TULLYBEE LOUIE both completed their CCI2-S & CCIYH2-S classes with lots to build on for the rest of the season 💪💪
